Huys says it would take about ten minutes to find the Eliminator from the barn, if you were walking in a straight line. #LauraBabcock

The backup name is based on the name of your device. Change the device name and the backup name will change. The don't get replaced though, so you will always have old backups with the old name, and newer ones with the new name.

Can't the filename for any backup be 'renamed' after the fact? (and it would not show a date of renaming?)

If you rename a file the modified date changes, so no.

He's showing a photo of five plastic garbage bins. Millard asks if she recognizes it. She says no, she doesn't think she took it, but it appears to be in the barn. #LauraBabcock

Millard now up for cross exam. He's putting a photo up on the screen. Several plastic garbage bins. Huys doesn't recognize it as one of her photos. Appears to be part of the barn. Huys notices that Toronto Police took that photo. #LauraBabcock

Apparently it's a Toronto police photograph. All four are by Toronto police. #LauraBabcock

Huys says it appears to be the barn but doesn't remember the grey bins. Crown says the Toronto officer will be coming next week to testify. PC Haley. #Millard will wait until then for that photo, he decides.

Millard wants to know the standard practice forensics officers use to make sure they get an accurate representation of a scene. "What about lighting conditions?" "If it's dark we use a flash," Huys says.

Millard now asking about sharpness of photos. "It's best if they're in focus, that's for sure," Huys says. #LauraBabcock

Millard is asking her if she would "pull out her cellphone" to document a scene. Millard used this exact same line of questioning a few days ago for the officer who took photos at his home. #LauraBabcock

Does anyone remember the debates about whether DM considered himself a photographer when LB's uncle said she was going to bring her photographer boyfriend to his wedding?

Code tells the jury we're going to hear from another forensics officer this afternoon, and then from forensic anthropologist Dr. Tracy Rogers. We're now taking the lunch recess. We'll be back at 2 p.m. #LauraBabcock

Oh my. Is this the one that analysed and swept up TB's remains?

  • #154
If you rename a file the modified date changes, so no.

I just tried it on one of my own folders, and it is not showing a modification.... I think 'modified date' only refers to modification of the contents, not the name.

Added: I also tried renaming a 'file' as opposed to a 'folder', and same thing.. didn't change the modified date?

DM about the garbage cans...where did this guy get law degree on the back of a cereal box?

oh right, he doesnt have one.

  • #158
So are we going to find out that a TPS photographer took 4 photos at the farm, that were in the discovery, with their cell phone? DM seems to be harping on this point. And if they were in the discovery, are they even going to be presented? I suspect that's what's coming next week. :notgood:

MOO
