We've seen these messages before. They're discussing the "BBQ trailer is next highest priority after Yukon."

Millard says to Schlatman "we had a number of trailers at the hangars, right?" Witness agrees.

Millard says they did "alot of mix and matching with the plates right?"

Schlatman says, "Yeah they moved around."

We're back at #LauraBabcock murder trial. Crown is done with examination in chief. #Millard up for cross now.

"Afternoon Shane." "Hello." #Millard wants to look at a photo; it's of the Eliminator in a police forensic facility. Millard has Schlatman read the plate number. "You told us the plate on the incinerator was not registered for that machine." "I don't think so, no."

The garbage trailer was also the Bobcat trailer, #Millard reminds Schlatman. The plate on the incinerator trailer is registered for the other trailer, Schlatman agrees.

Now a text message conversation from July 4th, about the BBQ trailer being the next highest priority after the Yukon in #Millard instructions. A later message talks about the different plates and trailers #Millard had.

The big enclosed trailer is "the one we took to Baja," Schlatman agrees with the #Millard that the plates "did jump around" from vehicle to vehicle.

"It was a plate we had in circulation before there was an incinerator, right?" Schlatman agrees with #Millard about the licence plate on the incinerator trailer.

Schlatman would also fix cars for #Millard's friends, and would ask him the cost of parts so he could charge the back to his friends. Talking about moving stuff from old hangar to new hangar in Jan. 2012, I believe (hard to read).

Those text messages were August 28, 2012, when Schlatman was sent to fill the propane tank. He agrees that's when he saw and smelled something in the incinerator.

Crown is done with Schlatman. Court break.

So, an August burn didn't complete because the propane ran out. Schlatman was called in to fill the propane tank - he saw and smelled something - then filled the propane tank so the burn could be completed. I can only speculate that this was a completely new burn. Body disposal business. That's next level.

I've been following Lisa Hepfner and thought I would head over here to see what you all thought about the latest tweet about "another dead deer" this time in August and SS smells something rotten, sees possible bones. and ... at that point Crown ends questioning!

If I recall correctly, both Laura and TB were said to be incinerated at the hangar, and this August burn was in the barn at the farm.

So who else is missing? I would like to see DM's messages from around that time period.

I think they didn't return to the farm until late August when they realized the LB burn hadn't completed, necessitating a second burn.

Millard jumps back to messages from January 1, 2012. Millard has sent a very long message:

"Tomorrow is day one of three of moving stuff out of Milton to the ramp in front of the newly constructed hangar. I'll leave it to your discretion weather anything from Milton should be brought to your workspace rather than sit outside...

It goes on for quite awhile and talks about a trailer, trailer license plates, etc.

Millard now asks Schlatman about the size of his workspace at the new hangar.

"We had many trailers," Schlatman says. "As we established when you were juggling license plates," #Millard added.

I hope so, because the other thought is even worse.

I don't remember it being said that LB was believed to be burned at the hangar. I don't know that it has been clear up until this point. I perhaps missed something.

Apparently Millard was in Croatia for a good part of August.

Yes, at the hangar.

Possibly. Or it possibly still wasn't working as it should due to the generator or the badly grounded cord?

When was the photo taken of the bones inside of the eliminator? I wonder if DM didn't dispose of LB in two separate firings, and the second firing didn't complete. It seems odd that the bones found in the photo were the arm bones. I would expect that the larger femer bones would be present, but they weren't.

DM sent a msg asking how long the firing would take. I expect that he gave it the required amount of time and then walked away from it. He wouldn't open it up to check.JMO

The photos of the actual burn had location data that put them at the hangar.

Millard shows a number of photos to Schlatman:

-Schlatman in the hangar. Millard says "We had about eight trailers?" Schlatman says that sounds about right.
-A photo of Mark Smich, topless, hosing down a GMC work truck. Schlatman says he worked on this truck over several weeks.
-Two other angles of the yellow GMC work truck, in one shot it's parked next to a front-end loader

Millard says, "I'm going to suggest to you that's the work Mark Smich did at the hangar" working and cleaning vehicles.

Schlatman agrees.

Smich is making notes on the laptop in front of him, staring straight ahead at the computer screen.

So do you think they would leave it a month, before they cleaned out the "debris". I would have thought they would want to get rid of any evidence asap.

It was the "another" dead deer, that got me (and sent a shiver down my spine)

Schlatman sits turned toward Millard, and looks at him directly as he answers questions from his former boss.
