Exactly. They were trying to hide something for sure. No way would they ask her to do that if they were there for legit/legal reason.

[FONT=&quot]Millard and Smich came back to the vehicle and said, "****, we need an extension cord."

They drove to the hangar, with the incinerator.

She said she wanted to go home. Smich told her he'd take her back to her family home. Millard gave her some weed, and she went off and played with his dog and smoked up.

She says she walked by the incinerator, it had smoke coming out of it, and made a "crackling noise."

She never saw inside of it.

"They said they were trying to test out the machine."

[FONT=&quot]Meneses said they were in the back of the barn, inside.

She didn't see what they were doing. The car was parked in the other direction, she said.

Justice Michael Code asks her to repeat the instructions she was given by Millard and Smich.

"To stay on my phone, listen to music and not pay attention to them."

She says this happened all the time.

    "I didn't have a choice," she said.

[FONT=&quot]She describes a time -- not date yet -- when she went to the farm, with Smich and MIllard.

They said they wanted to test the incinerator. They picked it up at the hangar, and went to the farm.

"They told me to stay in the car, and wear my earphones and wait there."

She says they were there for awhile.

don't know if anyone has this posted...adding due to importance

Millard and Smich had probably been working with the incinerator for an hour before she walked by and saw. No one else was around. "It was late at night," Meneses says. #LauraBabcock

Photo of #Smich holding what looks like the incinerator ash scooper. Meneses identifies the location as #Millard's hangar, where the incinerator was parked. #LauraBabcock

"We can see that Mark is holding something in his right hand," Cameron says, but Meneses didn't see #Smich holding the stick and doesn't know what it is. When she woke up they were driving back to the farm. #Millard dropped off the incinerator. Went home. #LauraBabcock

Meneses says the incinerator was put back inside the back of the barn before they went to either #Smich or #Millard home. "I'm not sure at all," she says. #LauraBabcock

Morning recess. #LauraBabcock

Or maybe she was with them and doesn’t want us to know. Who knows with this bunch.

I believe her and she has no reason to lie.

IMO...MM did as she was told by DM and MS. MM was young and likely DM didn't trust the gossip mouth from a young girl. Just trying to think outside of the box a little but, girls are known to gossip, the less MM knew about these "missions" the safer DM and MS would be to carry on. DM likely trusted that MS wouldn't tell all to MM due to the nature of the mission. MOO

From the tweets it sounds as if she's being as truthful as she can be. MOO

I believe her. DM told MS she shouldn't come, but MS said she could stay in the truck while they were out back.

And redwing... not sure DM was worried about her gossiping. MS was the one telling high school kids what they'd done.

I agree. There’s so much nuanced detail in what she is saying, which isn’t typical when people are lying.

I believe her, and there was texts between DM and MS, DM not wanting her there, MS saying it be ok, she can wait out front while they "talk to that girl"

Think she was very mallable & gullible. At that age and now I would have been very curious to what they were doing, if they were just innocently "testing" it, I would pressed to watch too. My spidy senses would be in over drive, 18 or not. But I do believe she just did what she was told, didn't want to get dumped and go back to her mom and stepdad. But the brazenness of these 2 to bring her, tow the eliminator with LB in it, uggh!!!

She said no one *else* was around, implying it was just DM, MS, MM, and the ever-present accomplice Pedo.

Edit: this is in response to mimimic (won't quote the post for some reason)

I just added the rest of the live blog where it describes what she saw/heard.

Edit: redwing already added that part oops! (And thanks redwing)

This is interesting but all it shows is that MS helped burn the body, which I think has already been well established.

It would be good to have more evidence of his involvement with the killing or helping prepare for the killing. All we really have now is MS arranging for the gun. That may be enough, but more would be good.

I agree.

And is arranging for a gun even enough? We don't even know how she was killed.

From the TB trial we also learned that Smich had been abusive to her on occasion so the fact that she didn't question really and just went with the flow doesn't surprise me. He was holding it over her head as well, that if she didn't do as he said, she could go back to HER MOTHER'S place and she didn't want that. I caught that in one of the tweets this morning.

I'm still a bit confused about the phones at Maplegate and them travelling together.

Do we definitively know that MS/DM AND LB's phones were are all at Maplegate the night of July 3rd?

The tweets on this seem contradictory and confusing.

FYI

A Twitter user has asked Lisa Hepfner how MS is behaving with MM on the stand and she replied that she hasn't seen any reaction.
