The .32 used to kill WM, found at MapleGate in "the fall of 2012", (assumed to be when WM died)

DM's hypothetical direction...

"WM, my dearest dad, being the deviant that he was, appears to have purchased numerous handguns illegally. While myself and my friends were busy keeping the house intact, painting, vacuuming, paying bills etc, WM would spend hours alone in his room playing with his illegal handguns. Sometimes I felt very threatened knowing that Wayne, being a bit of a psychopath, might "go off" at any time. Eventually, he found the preferred gun, with just the right length to reach his eye, to "off" himself with. Such a selfish act, another mess for me and Rabbit to sort out.

Poor me, WM left me many messes to sort out. Hidden debts, a new hangar and 25 employees to terminate, MRO equipment to liquidate, all while I was busy cleaning up deer carcasses at my farm, running my various Bobcats, it is soooo not fair, now people are associating me with the illegal handguns that WM bought. I am new to this entire thing, and feeling tired. Your honor, can we take a break? Waaah. "

The above article was written on Friday April 11, 2014, where it states that on Thursday April the 10th, the day they searched CN's home she was arrested, and so were MS and DM for LB's murder....also that same day DM was arrested for WM's murder. I am guessing there was way more found in CN's possession regarding WM also.
So in the TB trial we all suspected CN knew more but you know, didn't remember anything on the stand. If people were disgusted by CN before by her cold testimony, after hearing she knew about LB and likely WM she will be more loathed. Hopefully hey being in Europe is true because I don't think she has many fans here and she's dumb enough to post where she hangs out in Toronto. I have no respect for her friend KS either. What a bunch of losers. How can you know this information and keep it hidden? Sadly these girls will likely procreate. Hopefully they don't pass along whatever "gene" this is they seem to have. Disgusting on a whole other level IMO

I'm not even sure how the .32 calibre fits into LB's death? We know DM purchased a PPK in February of 2012, and neither gun has been identified as used in this murder. Some folks are suggesting a gun was not the murder weapon.

Strange?

I'm one of those people who aren't too sure that a gun was even used. I suspect he drugged her or strangled her. I always wondered if the new mattress was due to soiling of the mattress after LB died. I don't have a lot of experience with death but I've heard that that happens a lot when people die and the muscles relax.

Okay, so we've heard of the three Matthews... But who the heck are these two?

Could Theresa be shorty or rabbit?

We have learned that these gun make the rounds. They sell them guns, and take them back to change their print, and sell them again.

also, there are the ones that go missing.

'Feb 23 - During search of Millard's phone, border agent finds texts to Smich: "Maple Gate just got robbed", and the "gats are gone".' When did DM send him that text?

What are gats??

ETA: apparently they are guns

How is that accurate regarding "arrested"? They've been arrested almost for a year by that time.

They were arrested already for TB's murder but were re arrested for LB's murder in April.

What are gats??

I believe it was identified as guns. It was a slang that came from the old 1920 gangster days when they carried gatling guns. MOO

Not necessarily. They were already arrested for TB's murder, and then were charged with LB's murder. They were already in jail, you can't re-arrest someone.

Very misleading wording, it's bothering me

Who is the 'another man'? DM?
Eta. Never mind. Further tweet clarified.

I am going to guess that this was the WM gun. The court is protecting Millards rights for that trial (not admitting that he purchased the gun) while also allowing him to say "there was an empty gun in the house, why would I be desperate to get one from Isho?".

That's because this jury is not to account for knowledge of the TB case.

Yes, but I find it odd that the Judge is allowing him to enter a statement of fact that is a blatant lie.

Technicality, unfortunately.

Legal arguments ongoing today, I suspect, may be related to WM.
If DM was to bring up WM's "suicide" during his defense today, this could impact his next trial. Prosecution and Defense would be at odds, and Code needs to make a few judgements on this.
Certainly DM wants to be found not guilty in the WM case pending, as it will determine his inheritance.

Just my opinion / speculation

I hope DM is not trying to get the purchase of the S&W .32 made inadmissible in the WM trial. His introduction here can't eliminate it from WM trial can it?

  • #78
I'm not sure why DM is drawing all of the attention towards the illegal firearms that were at his home when there has been no evidence as to the cause of death and at this point the overdose scenario is probably his best defence although I just can't see the jury falling for it.

He is stalling for time. So obvious.

Maybe he is going to call Odlum as a witness??

ETA: Or Larocque/La Rocca

And that would just be a repeat of the MWJ/Isho cross. These guys are seasoned criminals who know the code. They won’t say anything. DM had better hope that when all of his trials are over that he is not in general population because no amount of money will be able to help him after pulling these stunts. MOO
