LE at Anthony Home on Jan. 16th

It was the only thing I could think of that did not pertain to the murder investigation. However, my other thought would be threats or harrassment issues. I remember reading that Cindy did not turn over HER credit card bills to the police because it was a seperate issue from Caylee missing.
It is definitely one piece of evidence we are not seeing. Yet.

Hopefully LE subpoenaed those records from the bank months ago.

Even if the As were being harrassed (and I do seriously doubt they are), wouldn't they just do their own investigations anyhow?...isn't that the A way?....get Lee, DC and the remarkable psychic onto the case?

I wish we knew which police were there, how many etc. That would point us more in the right direction perhaps.

BTW, IMO GVS should have pushed him harder for an answer re why LE was there. What ever happened to investigative journalism? It's as though she and GR allow these people on and agree in advance not to ask them tough questions and basically allow them to put propoganda out there.

I am no NG fan at all, but at least she balances her panels out with people presenting opposing arguments.

Yeah... it's real good that she is balanced with all these opposing arguments... problem is, she doesn't let them get more than a word or two in before she cuts them off. And she is downright rude and nasty, even to her own 'producers.' I wouldn't work with her for all the money in the world.

Very possibly! How long has it been now that either of them has worked? Quite a while. Certainly long enough to put them in danger of losing their home. Weren't they already having problems along this line before all of this came to light?

I agree! Regular patrol officers vs. detectives could make a big difference.

ITA...what a let down that a news crew was there and it appears they have agreed to keep the details secret. What an odd way for media to behave. It's like these journos are nothing but pr people for the As.

IIRC GVS asked Cindy how she was and Cindy responded "not good". Then BC said something to the effect that people could be cruel. For Cindy to have even responded tells me that it probably doesn't have anything to do with her request for immunity. I thought about the police reports...just don't think it would be posted yet. There should be something here that can be found on a search as previous calls to the police have been posted.

The timing leads me to believe it might be something to do with the PI tapes? Maybe LE has evaluated DC's phone records for calls from the crime scene when he was 'investigating' and her number was one he was calling/talking to? That would be another case against her?

How DARE they accuse her of that - so she's NOT DOING GOOD.

I heard that Cindy is on an extended leave of absence, but it is curious how they are paying the bills. Does George still have the security job? I know he was going to work sometimes while Casey was out of jail, maybe even later, not sure.

Hearing this tape last night and watching Casey's expressions.... I told my husband that they should have beat some sense into her a long time ago... she is obviously a spoiled brat! VERY immature.

I think the SA have already turned their offer down....BC stopped talking about it a few weeks ago, and it's obvious he approached them weeks ago, so I'd say the SA said "no deal". And I think that you are right, that it would be the SA handling those issues.

If this is the case, and the media was there and agreed to this, it makes me feel almost certain that this was a visit to tell them how they think Caylee died, and what some of the reports are showing. I don't think that the media would give the Anthony's enough respect for anything other than this at this point.

If Conway is to be believed, he told Greta that LE's visit to the A's house on Friday was not related to the case. He made it sound like they were there for some other call. Does anyone know how to find the respnses the police made to the residence? Might be able to decipher the reason the cops were dispatched by the record from the police reports.

Answering this as I first see it (without reading the whole thread), so it might be redundant:

Many local papers publish police calls/complaints. If the A's felt compelled to call in the authorities, the reason might be in the local paper.

The other possibility going through my mind would be subpoena service of some sort. I'm not sure exactly how this is accomplished in Florida, but in the states I'm familiar with it is often in person.

There is a third possibility going through my head, but I will not even venture to go there at this point.

I am very curious about how they are paying the bills also. I am hoping some official people are sharing our curiousity and looking into it.

And ITA with you and your husbands observations re Casey...I thought the same.

ETA....I feel the press are dropping the ball on this case. I'd like to see less pr and more investigative journalism. The press should know if any of them are working and should be looking at this more closely...especially after exposing DM. I feel like most of their stories lately either are pr driven, or seem to have come from something they read here at WS.

I wish we knew what type of police as well.

But I don't see how it is a stretch to think the A's are being harrassed. Read almost anything online and it is pretty much filled with contempt for them. It isn't much of a leap to go from online blogging to sending them something. It wasn't that long ago that all those nuts stood outside their home all those hours of the day and night taunting them. The A's are not looked upon favorably by most people following the case....and all it takes is one person without self-control to send something nasty to them. I would find it odd if they DIDN'T get some harrassing mail or calls.

The fact that the appearance of LE was so quiet...lends me to believe it was the A's that called them. I think if it was something big - like pending charges....it would have been "leaked" to the media. It could even be something totally unrelated like LancelotLink suggested.

Gosh darn it...why don't they just tell us!!! :crazy:

I refused to watch her until this case....I wouldn't want to work with her either! But I think if I had to chose between her and GR, I'd go with her. I think he'd annoy me more. Lol.

Last night on GVS, Greta raised with BC the fact that LE were at the house yesterday. She also said that when Greta asked Cindy how she was, Cindy indicated something was wrong. Greta asked BC why LE were there and why Cindy was upset by it, and BC made it clear he would not discuss it.

I believe charges are coming. Other people's thoughts as to why LE was there yesterday and why BC wouldn't discuss it, when he's so obviously willing to talk to the media about everything else? Maybe he couldn't spin this one in the A's favor?

Yes she is! Though I think they clearly enabled her all her life...I am not sure they had much choice in those jail visits. If they didn't treat her with kid gloves, she would just storm off and refuse future visits. I think that is why they "played extra nice nice" and kept trading the phone to help diffuse her anger. I think they were desperately trying to get something out of her - without making her so mad she stormed off. I have no doubt that storming off when she is confronted is her standard operating procedure.

Wouldn't you love to be left in her cell with her to confront her....without her being able to run off? To confront her with all her lies and inconsistencies...and not let her "steer" the conversation off topic?

(Sorry...I digressed from the topic while fantasizing....LOL)

Why do they need security at all, unless they go advertise it or sell media rights?? I think they should just have a quiet, private funeral and not sell the rights to it. If it's private, it will be very small. The family has few if any friends, and Caylee was just a tot. I'd say it will just be the As and the KFN bunch.
