Levi, did she say where she got her theory on MC not liking Haleigh? Just wondering if it was from family, or from outside of the family?

Maybe it was staged to appear as a copy cat crime, but the others were robberies, not kidnappings. LE would consider that a stretch for petty theft criminals. I don't know what credentials the women on Levi's show have, (I tuned in late) but most burglars don't want children.

I thought it was referenced that Timmy has a past of breaking in and stealing, we know Tommy does, Im not sure if someone there was getting the bros mixed up, but if thats the way they robbed, then it wouldn't be unsual for them to do the brick trick when getting rid of Haleigh. This sounds and is so horrible to type, but that was the context of what she was saying I believe.

Levi, are you originally from TN? I noticed a little southern accent going on. Gotta trust us southerners!

I agree with you, that was the point she was making. I still think Ronald would know their MO and copycat it.
For the life of me, I don't think the Croslin family would hurt a child. When Hank Sr. said, We love children, it rings true to me. And, say what you will about them, I feel they do care for each other. Tommy says, tell Misty to quit lying on people, tell Misty I love her, etc.

I don't doubt that MC had issues with Haleigh. She was difficult to get to go to sleep, supposedly, and she was Daddy's little girl, so no doubt there was some jealousy on MC's part. (i.e. MC saying they had to go "all the way" to GGMA's to get clothes H wanted to wear) But it seems a bit of a stretch to go from that to kidnapping or worse.

But jmoo, it isn't a stretch to go from such feelings as jelousy on MC's part and some behavioral issues on Haleigh's, to set off a 17 year old exhausted from a 3 day binge. Particularly one who didn't want to babysit and on HER b-day no less! MC comes off as an extremely selfish person with no cares as to how she affects others. I'm of the opinion she lost it that night and therefore the dog hits on that dumpster 3 times! Obviously, she called someone for help and the first thing she would've been told is that that dumpster is going to be the first hing checked. She wasn't home because Haleigh had to be moved and either ToC helped or another family member. I'm thinking the other brother. Possibly. And, she avoided RC right up until she couldn't any longer, preparing herself for his arrival home from work.

She's not talking because she's culpable for much worse than "losing" a 5 year old while asleep. People in the media & TH's stating that she "knows" something or "overheard" something confirms for her that it's not her responisbility and keeps her feeling that she's believed when she says she could never hurt Haleigh. Strong motivation to keep what did happen to herself.

As much as I don't agree with RC's lifestyle nor the fact that he left his kid's with this girl I still find it hard to believe he had a hand in her demise. There is genuine love & laughter in the pictures of him with his daughter (far cry from all the Casey & caylee posed pics) and he did have custody of her most of her short life without "losing" her or his temper with her. I really believe his odd behavior and actions have more to do with drug usage and I also think he doesn't want to even think that MC could hurt his child.

I don't think MC is covering for anyone but herself or she would've told the LE pronto to get them off her and her family's back.

Wanted to add this quote to my above post--but wound up with the same quote twice!

I'll figure it out some day!:waitasec:

I just read the burglary report, and maybe I'm crazy, but I can't help but believe Tommy didn't do this. Why is all the "nothing" found at Tommy's house, but $80 in change is found at Ronald's MH? Misty rats out her brother! It's like they keep trying to set him up. And, at the one house, not only did someone break in through the door, but broke out through a window. Why? Unless you are a real idiot, you would go in and out the same way. It's like someone wanted the break in to be really obvious. No sign of forced entry at RC's. If this person is so good at picking a lock, why didn't he use it on the neighbors. I don't think Misty would be above planting the stolen items at Tommy's house. If Tommy did steal the items, why keep towels, but leave cash at Ronald's?
Somebody give me a good reason this theory isn't sound...........

I can repeat everything I posted in chat if it helps. I stand by my posts.

  • #51
Hold your horses! We don't copy chats here. Thanks!

No, Kimster, I was just saying I can repeat/post what "I" myself said in chat tonight if that is what LF is looking for a copy of. MY own posts, not anybody else's. I do not even know if that is what she is looking for a copy of, just trying to help. No worries here, I would not copy a chat here. :)

I was wondering what you guys were thinking! :floorlaugh:

If you want to copy your own posts, that's absolutely fine. :)

In reference to the part in bold above; I just re-read the docs and I cannot find anywhere in the report where it states that the $80 in change was found at Ronald's MH... :waitasec: Are you referring to the MH at 202 Green Lane where Ronald resided when HaLeigh disappeared? If so, Ronald wasn't even living there at the time of the burglary(ies). He hadn't lived there since February 10, 2009 - when HaLeigh was reported missing.

Cousin Jo didn't leave the next morning, he left the next evening..
Is he involved, possibly in a cover-up, but he isn't the one responsible for what happened to Haleigh...IF he were, Ron C would have never allowed him to get out of Dodge as fast as he did...JMO
Let me clarify a bit because I didn't mean to imply that I believe JO is responsible for Haleigh's disappearance just that I agreed with Stacy that his leaving the next day (whether it was in the morning or the pm) was suspicious behavior.

ETA
I'm not sure exactly what day JO did leave but it would have been 2 maybe 3 days later since he helped MC with Haleigh's "Missing" posters.

It also might qualify him as the smartest member of that particular family that we are aware of to date.

On page 5 of 6, it says $80 in change inside a plastic gatorade bottle. It's at the top of the page.

Sorry, I said MH, but I just meant his residence. I don't know where they lived on Jan. 20th.

Maryann- where do you see the Gatorade bottle/$80 in change? I see it on pg's 4-5, but I don't see anywhere that it's found at RC's home. Can you point me in the right direction?

Hey Maryann, I saw that but what I'm not following is where you see in the police report that the $80 in change was found at Ronald's MH... TIA!
