The only person I want to hear from is Matt M. JM has alluded that he knows something.
The truth is Arias wasn't/isn't that small.... I am 5'1 and I weigh 100lbs :blushing: and I'm pretty strong - trust meI grew up with five brothers and they always taught me to fight etc... maybe it's just in my blood I don't know... but I don't find it difficult to believe that Arias could overpower Travis in a moment of rage.
I'm not sure if it is the same in AZ, but here those cameras only take pics when you run a red light.
Yep. She really would have done her case so much better if she had remained silent and retained a good lawyer. imo A good chance at 2nd.

Yes, he did say that she fit the criteria for personality disorders. I don't remember the exact verbiage he used. But basically, yes she did and no he did not know what they were.
A great WS wrote a great reply to me regarding personaility disorders that I am going to go back and reread if I can find it in one of these threads. Basically it was about the personality disorders are different that mental disorders or something along those lines.
Don't know about that....just Travis's injuries alone show premeditation even without her saying a word.

This is probably my imagination werkin' overtime, BUT....a couple of days ago at the end of day, the court evidence deputy was wandering around the courtroom <IMO> looking for a piece of unaccounted for evidence. AND, at the end of court yesterday Judge Stephens asked/reminded Dr Samuels to check his files for something <can't remember what exactly>...but I'm wondering if he slipped something in his paperwork.....Thats where I get confused. I know there was the 'discrepancy' between the two sheets of raw data. Samuels admitted that he 'recalculated' one of the sheets from memory because he sent it in and had no access to it. [ which makes no sense in itself.] So one test was scored as a 15 and one as a 17. Okay....clown move. :clown:
But this paper that Juan pulled out at the very, very end of the day seems like something BESIDES that recalculation gaffe. It was something that he seemed to insinuate was being hidden from him. And he had already dealt with the other scoring discrepancy thing so...?
Im just catching up on yesterday's proceedings, watching Juan question Samuels. He pulls no punches -- which is appropriate.
I can't help feeling a teensy bit sorry for the doc..ie. I feel "compassion," according to Webster
I'll bet Dr. Samuels phone is ringing off the wall with attorneys wanting him to testify for theirclients.
Is this the book he sent her?
What an odd choice? What on earth does this have to do with treating someone who is suicidal?
If she wanted to shoot him then she could have done so while he slept in bed. Easy Peasy. There would have been no need to corner him in the shower.
I have to agree. I felt nothing for JA when on the stand because her affect was not congruent with what one would expect from another human being in such a situation. There were no feelings of empathy or being able to relate to her appearance and responses on the stand if I were to put myself in her shoes.
With RS, he may be gullible, a schmuck and ill-prepared. He may have ignored signs that he shouldn't have. However, I can instinctively understand his physical and verbal reactions. He appears human. JA does not.
She could not shoot him when she first got there (roommate home). She also may have wanted to keep things "neat" and not leave evidence so the shower probably seemed like a good place.
Random thought and if it's been discussed before I apologize, but does anyone know if the bottle of KY was ever discovered? I'm curious if that also got packed up with the gun, the knife, the rope etc during the 'frenzied' (NOT, as if, very meticulous clean up) crime?
