Dr. Fog has a tendency to just throw things out there, like that. Like when he said that he could have just added to his notes himself that she said her legs were bound. What the??? How in the world do we know which notes to trust and not trust then? You know, if you are going around adding stuff to it.

This guy is a quack!

I think she put on another plate at some point and in her haste to replace the real plate, she put it on upside down.

I agree with your theory. She may have temporarily replaced the rental car's CA plates with AZ plates to make the vehicle less conspicuous while parked in the neighborhood. Just moo.

I'll bet Dr. Samuels phone is ringing off the wall with attorneys wanting him to testify for their 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 clients.

I think she figured she had to bring a knife because a knife is <silent>. How could she know that the housemates would be gone when she decided to strike? She had to have a silent weapon. She somehow must have found that his roomies were gone before she started her murdering rampage. I feel sure that she checked on them before she did what she did.

Seems to me, the gun would have been her preferred go-to weapon -- or at least I would have been afraid that he would/could have overpowered me with a knife, but not a gun if I shot him in a vulnerable place from the start. I sometimes think she shot him first; then I think she shot him last just to make sure he was good & dead -- a kind of period at the end of the sentence. I waver on when she used the gunshot. The M.E. thought that it came last, and that's good enuff for me. But no matter, really; she got it done.

And yes, the use of two weapons does make it look like there were two killers.... And that is another item for the premeditation argument.

And there was no rope in the bedroom or bathroom -- not that day.

She was sly and cunning -- but not quite enuff.

great argument for knife first. ITA knife is silent in case nighbours or roomies around and gun for backup in case knife not enough.

I think she shot him because she thought the noises his body was making meant he was still alive and because she wanted it to seem there were 2 weapons and 2 intruders.

We know Arias plans things with great detail. No way she would have taken a chance there would be a knife sharp enough at the house to murder Travis with. She came with her own "favourite" and probably still has it hidden somewhere :(

In the interview with Flores she says, "If I were in AZ wouldn't there be traffic light surveillance pictures?"

Afternoon session con’t. Ms. Wilmott questioning Dr. Samuels following juror questions.
I believe the test scores remain the same, could have been higher if done after self-defense story. . . Test measures trauma but the actual trauma doesn’t matter. . . Original story was bad enough, actual story was worse. . .I am confident in results of test. . . Don’t start with battery of tests, don’t know what tests to give. . .first interview to formulate thinking. . .experience enables you to see issues quickly. . .used test as 2nd opinion to confirm possible diagnosis. . .ask questions first, do tests later if necessary. . . experience comes into play when talking to patient. . .can more quickly zero in because you have heard things before.
Compare fight-or-flight to a frightened animal response. . .seek distance first for safety. . .cannot predict how a person will behave. . . closet was not a dead end so is consistent with attempt to flee. . . Jodi talked about wanting distance. . . if had a previous experience might have a subconscious effect. . . can’t predict why someone did A or B. . . It is not rational to leave evidence behind at crime scene that leads LE to them. . . is not well thought out.
I have had some experience with adolescents who lie . . .I ask parents. . . doesn’t happen often that patients continue to lie when confronted gently. . .Jodi is not resistant as a patient . . . initially I did ask if she was sure the intruder story was accurate but didn’t want to push her. . . she told other story on her own. . . Jodi was not uncooperative. . .her denial was a defense mechanism.
MCMI test was created in 1970’s. . . can take 10 years to develop such a test. . . it changes over time. . .this is the 3rd version of MCMI. . .as a validity scale, questions may be asked several times in slightly different ways, looking for consistent answers. . .can’t tell if person has lied before or lies outside of test.
Can’t see low self-esteem by looking at her. . .but by talking to her can see it quickly. . . Aggressive behavior when belligerent, try to parent the other person into submission. . .Assertive is adult-to-adult behavior. . .talking to another woman you think is cheating with your boyfriend may be assertive but depends on the situation. . .may be assertive to some people, such as talking to Bianca about cheating with Matt, but not assertive with others. . .she was not assertive with Travis. . . talking to Travis about seeing him with another woman though window might be slight case of assertiveness but not reflective of emails, texts, etc. . .if he apologizes [afterwards] and she stays, she does not respect herself. . . although she showed irritability and anger towards mother, rarely showed anger to others. . .infrequently showed anger to Travis. . . if she stood up to him he would punish her by not calling her for several days, she would feel abandoned. . .this was an ongoing practice. . . it was a means of control, Travis controls by withholding love.
Giving her the book was not improper. . . have never had anybody suggest it was improper in the past.
Do not ask leading questions in the beginning . . . we are trained not to do that. . . it disrupts the interview.

I'm not sure if it is the same in AZ, but here those cameras only take pics when you run a red light.

The only person I want to hear from is Matt M. JM has alluded that he knows something.
And I would love to hear the full truth from Darryl B. I think he is up to his eyeballs with knowledge on a few issues. My guess is he is somehow needing to protect himself on some things she would surely drag him thru the mud on if he doesn't comply and remain her confidant. He is not directly involved, but he knows more than he is willing to say. He didn't want his face shown on camera (the only person so far) and seems to really want to stay on the down low. The DVD remote has me intrigued, as well as time she spent at his house and the gas cans. Remember too that Travis is the one that 'stole' Jodi from him in the first place, so to speak.. A little bitter too perhaps? He seems very attentive to his son, moving wherever his ex moved to be nearer to him. He doesn't want to be drug thru the mud in front of his son as well. (Who would, but...) I still think he is keeping secrets for several reasons.
Jodi was scraping for cash for this road trip. Let's just say even if she only got 30 bucks for the DVD player, it would help. Let's say Darryl bought it from her to help her out (not knowing she stole it), maybe for a spare for his son's room or something. The implications of that would bag her. The stolen gun from Grandpa would be confirmed as well. That is a big secret that he may be holding for her. I really think this may be the case. Of course the DVD player would be long gone by now!

Yeah, that is exactly what Flores said in response.

I have a question about the jury. Are the allowed to discuss the case outside of court with each other before deliberation, or is that forbidden?

TIA

I disagree, I think that email's author was Jodi Arias. It sounds exactly like something she would say.

Yeah this is her style through and through. TA's writing style was not overly verbose like this and it uses phraseology that she has used. She thinks if herseld as highly intelligent...using all sorts of words. We already know she hacked into emails and was jealous of other women he knew. Not trying to paint TA as a saint but he wasn't a mean abusive guy. He tried to live up to his chosen Mormon faith.....but there is no evidence of verbal abuse or any abuse.

So I am re-watching day 5 when Juan is questioning his witnesses and he pronounces Jodi's last name differently a few times. I never caught that before, but made me laugh. It sounds like "Oddeous" when he say's it with a Hispanic accent. Every time he does this she glares her eyes at him... So funny, Good one Juan.

But JA didn't seem know that.

No one would come up with that remark unless it was thought out first.
Premeditate. Funny how she really gives herself away with statements like that. It's like she throws it in his face and says, now try to prove it.

Yep. She really would have done her case so much better if she had remained silent and retained a good lawyer. imo A good chance at 2nd.
