Finished watching the archives of the trial. If I was a juror I would think: that's all the def has, it makes him look pretty guilty. The def is under no obligation to present a case so IMO it would've been better to do nothing than these few witnesses.
There was testimony that his 2 cohorts would regularly smoke marijuana sprinkled with pcp but nothing was presented into evidence that AH did.
It seems like the gum DNA testimony helped the prosecution more than the def considering the gum and casing were both found in the car by the Enterprise employee. It puts AH, a casing that matches casings at the murder scene in the car he rented and is seen in multiple times on videos.
When everyone rested AH looked scared and angry. Like, 'this is all'. He obviously knew only 3 witnesses would be called but until he actually heard it and realized it's done and over.... It looked like reality finally set in.
