Here is a listing for his house in Attleboro -- it offers a picture tour of the house. GoodGollyMissMolly, it is a fine one. I seeing some pics taken by AH and his girlfriend, but not to the extent of the pics in the listings.

I'll betcha there isn't a closet or cubbyhole in that house that is as small as his cell. :D

My goodness! I wonder if there are liens on the house....or JB is to get all proceeds!

It is a 10year old house. On the market for 334 days.

Sadly Lloyd's Mother won't get the value that the house is actually worth if Hernandez had not lived there...it is an awesome house! But my pictures do not look as good as a realtors lol (nor are they taken by AH or any of his associates lol)

Well, just open the doors of the cells housing these so-called pot-murderers in of all the prisons in the country. Could you imagine the appeals that would pile-up if that dizzy defense were to work in this trial? I feel sure some folks here on WS have been stoned a time or two -- murder, h*ll no, pass the brownies. Dayam.

I'll take the chocolate chip ones please! :giggle: I truly don't think that defense is going to fly!

Whoa that's a BIG house - too big for me! But love the kitchen and the round window dining area! Personally I'd get rid of those pillars leading into the living room!

so we are waiting for March 1st, eh?

But all of the local stations cover it anyway out there...and with the Bruins the only team playing (if you can even call it that) now NESN has something to cover in its free time...although now that I am not living there I can watch AH coverage when its not on NESN...exciting...

But how can that beat the summer of 2013 when my daughters watched all day court coverage of AH and Whitey Bulger on regular television (rainy days suck haha)

A potential juror was excused today after she confused the double-murder trial of disgraced former Patriot Aaron Hernandez with Deflategate.

“I heard something about Deflategate, but that’s it,” said the young woman, who was eventually excused after Suffolk prosecutors used one of their 16 juror challenges.

.......

Three jurors were selected before the lunch break - two women and one man. Al three are young and one of the women is originally from the Dominican Republic.

Wow...was she just trying to play dumb so as to get on this jury?

And that house I mean, I don't care how tattooed and smug he may look he has to be kicking himself constantly..

from the Boston Globe article posted above ^^ (post #328):

Defense attorney Jose Baez, a flashy litigator whose prior clients include Casey Anthony, the Florida woman acquitted of murdering her toddler, used rhetorical flourishes throughout the week as he pressed jurors on whether they could judge Hernandez fairly.
Speaking with his hand raised above his head, Baez leaned forward and told juror after juror that guilt beyond a reasonable doubt is “the highest standard [of proof] in American jurisprudence.”

“As he sits here, Mr. Hernandez is presumed innocent,” Baez said repeatedly. “He’s cloaked in that. Can you sit here today and look at us and say that you will grant him that presumption of innocence?”
The jurors who were selected all answered in the affirmative. But the most dramatic response came Thursday from a juror who was ultimately excused.
He locked eyes with Hernandez when Baez asked if he could afford him the presumption of innocence, and a heavy silence hung in the room as lawyers on both sides awaited his response.
“Yes,” the man said finally.

“I just like to think of everything,” the man said. “Why would I presume him guilty? I’m looking right at him, straight in his face. . . . I don’t know the man.”
Prosecutors later excused the juror with one of their peremptory challenges, after citing his criminal record, which included decades-old arrests for attempted murder and armed robbery.
Jury selection is scheduled to resume on Monday, and a pretrial motion hearing is scheduled for Tuesday. Opening statements in the trial are scheduled for Wednesday.

I'm ready!

O/T...yes this is becoming my distraction thread...LOL...I wish I was summoned to jury duty...I would have flown out for it! AH who? Never heard of the Pats! Are they a good football team? Oh, maybe thats too dumb...considering the minor Superbowl WIN three weeks ago...

Though I did not seem to find this courtTV type channel anywhere...guess I will have to stream the local channels since they can't get enough of AH or watch it on NESN (getting our moneys worth this year besides baseball and the Beanpot since the Bruins are looking dismal)

They have 14 out of the 16 jurors so far. Interesting read on the selection in here...

https://www.bostonglobe.com/metro/2...urder-trial/lVtddRAOYWyBHL8BZT1UWL/story.html

..Friday, bringing the number of jurors to 14. Sixteen jurors will be selected, with four designated as alternates before deliberations begin.

(O/T...wow, had to get away from another active thread on here for a while!)

With the laughter and joking about other football games and teams as well as his happiness over receiving snacks it seems Hernandez is happy with his defense team. Guess he's trying to be positive and putting on a happy face...

Oh yeah...I forgot about MA DOC...they cannot deny cable...or other amnenities...(civil rights violation) if he is up in Boston because he is presumed "innocent " in this case...I am guessing he is in South Bay because Nasua St. wouldn't take him. So he gets his snacks, special treatment, and visitors for now, and lots of cable...(before he heads back to Shirley)...like a little vacation...I'm sure he will be on his best behavior...he has shown he has acting skills before...like when he was out killing a couple of guys at night and showing up to training camp in the morning...oh wait...before training camp...

I just think of the positives...AH gets caught...lives are probably saved down the line...I would not be surprised if there were more bad deeds tied to him in FL...(college years) but thats just my thinking (and they have the death penalty)

Which makes me wonder...why do so many serial killers have ties to FL?

So as of right now he is living large with all ammenities because of his civil rights. A convicted murderer up on another murder trial??
I have no words.

Don't know when the trial start time is, but 9:00am Eastern Standard Time -- Massachusetts' time -- would be 2:00pm GMT (UTC) time.

GMT is 5 hours ahead of US eastern time.

The US (except most of the state of Arizona) will change to Daylight Saving Time on Sunday, March 17th when we change our clocks from 2:00am to 3:00am.

interesting but sad article:

http://www.bostonherald.com/news/co..._aaron_hernandez_has_three_big_holesMcGovern: Case against Aaron Hernandez has three big holes
Bob McGovern Tuesday, February 28, 2017

Evidence in Aaron Hernandez’s double-murder trial should start coming out tomorrow, and if the lengthy jury-selection process taught us anything, it’s that Suffolk prosecutors are particularly nervous about three holes in the case against the disgraced former New England Patriot.

There is no forensic evidence; their star witness is a convicted criminal; and the alleged motive is unconvincing.

[ OH OH, looks like Baez might have another disgusting win...]

That came from the Herald though...maybe the Globe had a more positive outlook...or see if Howie Carr has any opinion on this [emoji4]

Thanks borndem - I know that I am 2 hours ahead of London! So I am 7 hours ahead of the East Coast! :D I'll check in at 4pm my time today and see what's going on!

And Europe doesn't change to Daylight Savings until March 26th... So for a week it will be 8 hours, no - 6 hours ahead.... LOL!
