NYE and resolutions for what she wanted from her new year may have nudged her into telling him...

I think she had been straddling the fence, waiting to see what came of his trial because it could come to pass that she wouldn't have to tell him at all. He gets sentenced, she files for divorce while he's behind bars and he's none the wiser, she avoids the conversation altogether...

*Trial continues (Day 7) (@ 9am ET) - MA - Ana Walshe (39) was last seen at her home in Cohasset shortly after midnight on New Year’s Day, Jan. 1, 2023, according to her husband. She was reported missing Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2023 from her employer in Washington D.C. - *Brian Reza Walshe (47/now 50) arrested (1/8/23), charged & arraigned (1/9/23) with intimidation/ misleading police during the investigation into his wife's disappearance. Bond $5M Surety/$500K Cash. Plead not guilty (1/9/23). [See below for NEW charges]. Quincy DC in Mass Court/moved to Norfolk Superior Court
*Re-Charged (1/17/23) & arraigned (1/18/23) with murder, assault to beat Ana with intent to murder & improper transport of body. Plead not guilty. Held without bond pending indictment. Held in Norfolk County Correctional Center.
*Indicted (3/30/23), re-charged & arraigned (4/27/23) with 1st degree murder, for misleading a police investigation/ obstruction of justice [plead guilty] & for the improper conveyance of a human body [plead guilty]. Plead not guilty to all charges (4/7/23). Held without Bond.
On 11/18/25 plead guilty to intimidation/misleading police & improper conveyance [transport] of body & admitted dismembering Ana. Norfolk Superior Court
Jury Selection began on 11/18/25 & ended on 11/20/25. 16 jurors selected. [9 women & 7 men].
Jury Trial began on 12/1/25. Mondays thru Thursdays court ends at 4pm, on Fridays at 1pm.

Theresa Marchese, Managing Director of Human Capital Management at Tishman Speyer. [Marchese was the one to hire Ana Walshe at the company]. Davis Gould, forensic scientist with MSP is called back on stand. [Socks, Ana’s jacket & a bracelet has been entered into evidence]. Hugh Dunleavy, Chief Security Officer at Tishman Speyer [sat 10 ft from Ana at work]. Patricia Patterson, keeper of records from Walgreens in Cohasset [surveillance video shown of Walshe on 1/1/23 @ 3:40pm; bought anti-itch band-aids & antibiotic cream]. Joseph Cesarz, works at Vinnin Liquors in Swampscott [surveillance video shown of Walshe with a bag walking toward a dumpster. The footage is dated New Year's Day 2023 @ 5:12pm. The store was closed that day]. Cade Reed, District Asset Protection Manager for Lowe's [video from Jan. 1 @ 5:38pm of the Danvers Lowes were entered into evidence. After, there was video entered from the Weymouth location @ 4:33pm on 1/1/23 with a child; cleaning supplies bought]. Jami Flint, CVS in Danvers [surveillance footage from CVS shown to jury. A receipt from New Year's Day was also entered into evidence, showing the purchase of five bottles of hydrogen peroxide at CVS]. Gregory Denine of Stop & Shop [surveillance @ 7:03pm on 1/1/23 shown to jury-Walshe buying 5 bottles of ammonia]. MSP Crime Lab Matthew Sheehan [looiked for traces of blood]. Trial continues on Tuesday, 12/9/25.

That is where I am with this. Kitchen, knive, basement. Shoving her down the stairs with an active blood wound is not working for me as I feel there would be more blood spatter. I wanna know where that rug that we saw cut up into a zillion pieces with blood was in the house. JMO

The rug was in the living room.

A. So when you walk in the front door it's the room to the left, it's the only room that had a rug, it's the only room downstairs that has a fireplace.

I’m not sure that the testimony confirms the rug in question was normally in the living room. There appears to be a blue and white one in the picture which is what the detective is using to identify that room as the living room. Somewhere in the back of my mind I recall very early on before the trial that the rug was normally in the kitchen. I have no proof however to back that up…just my “old” brain.

And now the Defense cross from yesterday is even worse. All that elicited testimony about no blood or biological evidence in the bedroom and staircase, in supposed support of a peaceful sudden unexplained death in her sleep, in her bed, in her second floor bedroom becomes PROOF that that isn't where she died!

She was murdered in the first floor. Thank you for that clarity.

No wonder the detective was so cool and confident with his answers. The evidence doesn't support a death on the second floor.

Eager to see what today's testimony shows. State is moving quite methodically through the evidence. Coolly.

Their closing argument will bring it all together, powerfully and impassionately.

I'm presuming the photos of the living room were taken by crime scene officers after Ana's death, when the rug she was pictured on next to the fireplace had been disposed of, and replaced with the blue and white one. JMO
