Also possibly his clothes, which if they were to replace a likeness of clothes he was wearing when Gem was there, including pants and a belt (because of a photograph taken and sent to Fastow), could suggest he was still dressed and not ready for bed when he murdered Ana.
I think the fact he told Gem that evening that he had lost his phone shows premeditation.
I also think the late dismemberment planning may have been because of her injuries, which would be apparent if her intact body was found. I don't think he'd planned ahead on the blood clean up. Just my preliminary thoughts on it.
Exactly.
He didn't replace pajamas.
He did replace slippers.
And now I'm curious.
Some households have a habit of leaving their shoes at the door. Some people wear house slippers.
What
was BW wearing for footwear on NYE?
I think Ana was murdered shortly after Cem left. I can imagine the tension between Ana and BW in the months leading up to NYE, spoken and unspoken. I expect Ana genuinely lit up for Cem and was happy
not to be alone with BW. BW, not blind. Whether he wondered wrongly any the nature of Ana and Cem's friendship, I suspect he was simmering inside, in particular with Ana's ease around another man who wasn't HIM, alongside his growing awareness that she was having an affair.
I don't think it was the loss
of Ana that enraged him (they'd been living apart, hadn't been intimate), I don't think he cared or considered HER much at all (or he'd have made all kinds of different choices); I think he was afraid that she was going to leave him and the impact of that ON HIM -- financially, for sure, but with his house arrest. I think he thought he could beat the charges -- pay restitution with Ana's new salary -- and never spend a day in jail.
For his efforts, may he spend the entire rest of his life there.
No great loss to the planet.
But what he TOOK from the planet, irreplaceable.
I hope the CW opens today with a glowing -- radiantly unblurred -- photo of Ana.
