That ceiling fan fascinates my cat.
Does the CW go first and last in Mass?

And here we go.

And we're live in the courtroom.

A fitting day for alliteration, Felony Friday.

Say that three times fast and it comes out BW LWOP.

Will today be the day?

Judge use of dangerous weapon is out

Dangerous weapon is out?!?!

As long as she allows the jury to hear about his pleas, even if not to consider guilt, I’m happy. It would be a travesty for the jurors not to have that info.

Judge reviewing instructions.

"Use of a weapon" is out.

Streamlined others.

"You will have all the evidence with you including the weapon tools."

Discussion on how to have them protected. Encased perhaps. Strapped down. Just safe.

So the CW can show the knife to the jury if secured.

And they know he's an artist...I mean con artist.

A fraud.

A lying liar who lies.

Does anyone know the make up of the jury ? How many men and women?

Per my notes:
16 jurors selected. [9 women & 7 men].

BW has a very punchable face. Poor Ana.

Dangerous weapon is out?!?!
She didn't clarify context so maybe just in that particular instruction? But it's elsewhere?

I don't think it's a problem for the CW --

Judge leaving the bench to make corrections and print a corrected copy of the JIs.

I love her pleasant “I made that change but just forgot to tell you.”

Quoting myself to spitball --

The jury shouldn't get hung up on how he killed her or what he killed her with, that might not be an element of the charge.

The CW's theory is that he used a knife, but even if the jury doesn't adopt that theory, they can still find him guilty of the charge, without a theory of how he did it.

IMO it's good (for the CW) that it's out, but I could be wrong.

I don't know who wanted it removed.

I think the defense would have had a much stronger case if they went for AW killing herself in a bloody manner, say with the knife.

That would explain his panic way more than a natural non suspicious death.

I'm glad they didn't but since he was the only one there they only had two options. Natural death or suicide.
