Well if it's true the MIL saw her leave around 4 AM with bags and that she had mentioned getting a rideshare to the airport, it is possible that's what happened and it was a "private" ride where the driver goes dark to give a ride unofficially and that person did something to her. It would still be odd that she wasn't reported missing until Wed. and that she had a "work emergency" on New Year's Day that her company has not publicly confirmed yet, but it is a possibility. And maybe if the driver did something nefarious it happened shortly after picking her up and her phone stopped pinging nearby her home, which is why they are searching so close by.

Those are certainly two possible scenarios - if a car/cars were picked up on cameras arriving at their house it would seem LE might share that she actually got into a car - but who knows. If LE knows the phone was turned off and what time they should also know by now who she called for a ride or if anybody called her ?
There may have been some type of accident or altercation in the house. Curious if they hosted a dinner party NY eve with others at the house - or perhaps she stepped out for a late night early morning walk to clear her head and ran into trouble. It seems they are pretty focused on the immed area around the house.

I suspect LE has enough background by now from friends etc to know what is the probable scenario. Since the k9’s are back for the third time I think they are kind of playing a leading role as to where the searches are occurring too. Along with as everybody says - what cameras saw and did not see, when her phone was turned off etc. I suspect that phone was turned off before the alleged arrival of the ride share. Iirc she did not return any happy new year messages and I know lots of times my friends and family fire those messages while still out partying after midnight. ( my phone is usually on dnd since I am mostly sound asleep by then lol). I discount out of hand what the MIL says - just my opinion. I am interested in where she spent NY’s eve … and when the last time she saw her boys was or talked to anybody outside her house.

Drain the pool? Can't you just look in it? It's not like a swamp?

This is getting weirder and weirder.

It may be one of those pools with a black liner - I have seen quite a few with the 40 something crowd. Very difficult to see anything. Or maybe it was not covered or treated and is algae and swamp water like lol !

This suggests, to me, that LE could also be searching for two separate things - not only Ana, but also her bags. LE hasn't found either.

And another more hopeful theory is "gone girl"--while he was sleeping.....adding her Serbia December visit....who does that alone?
and the possible cover story to MIL rideshare........imo

My sense imo, is from looking at her linked in page, is that she may be of Eastern European origin and perhaps has family there but that’s my speculation only as she has a degree from the university of Belgrade in Serbia in my opinion

Do we know for sure if there were outside cameras at her house even something like a Ring? I know it’s very common to have cameras or a Ring nowadays so wouldn’t be surprised if someone in that neighborhood did but just curious if we know for sure if any camera covers the front of her home. I think in the press conference they said there was no video.

Agree re luggage but I think that info came from mil and I am putting that info aside in my head for the time being. Just my opinion.

If her career is in DC, and they own a residence there, it's curious to me why she commuted back and forth, why didn't they all live in DC vs the Boston area?

I find their whole lifestyle unusual, starting with the question you posed. A look at her social media shows expensive jewelry, cars, international travel, and then add to that the husband as an art dealer and sued for selling fake Andy Warhol paintings. I'm not sure what all that adds up to as far as her disappearance but their lifestyle wasn't a common one, IMO.

A covered swimming pool in the middle of a New England winter would be a great place to temporarily store things you later intended to discard. Hypothetically speaking, IMO. Just a random observation I never considered.

So I am wondering why that Stop & Shop complex became a focus earlier.
IF Ana is in those woods, taken from their home, wouldn't a perp bypass the road and go through those woods behind the home?
So did a camera in fact show a vehicle stopping at that Stop & Shop?

So I am wondering why that Stop & Shop complex became a focus earlier.
IF Ana is in those woods, taken from their home, wouldn't a perp bypass the road and go through those woods behind the home?
So did a camera in fact show a vehicle stopping at that Stop & Shop?

The driveway behind theStop & Shop looks to provide good access to those woods and that parking lot would provide space for LE vehicles. They could also access that without getting homeowner permission.

Her employer seems to be Property Group....in Seekonk, MA, her pic is on their website. I put in a yellow pages .com search for property management in Seekonk, MA, because the website is only a search engine for real estate for sale and no mention of offering property management... and the 2nd property management listing that popped up was . That said , her photo being at the bottom 1/4 of dozens of agent faces, all below the broker face photo on their website leaves the question open on her being a "executive". So it appears she did have a job as reported, out of state. ( did not mention name of employer not sure rules.)
