Worcester police seek public's help in locating missing woman, last seen Halloween morning

The Police Department is seeking information on the whereabouts of a 30-year-old woman.
Joanna Brown of Worcester was last seen about 9 a.m. Friday, Oct. 31 at the Bean Counter on Grove Street where she has worked eight years, never missing a shift, the bakery said. Brown has not shown up to work or been in contact with family since Friday morning, Oct. 31.
The Worcester Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating 30-year-old Joanna Brown of Worcester. She was last seen leaving her place of work, the Bean Counter on Grove Street, around 9 a.m. on Friday October 31st. She is 5’6” with hazel eyes.
Brown may be in a 2025 Gray Mitsubishi Outlander with MA REG: 5GPN93 and could be in the Holyoke/Springfield area. She has not shown up to work or contacted friends or family, which is unlike her.

"She called me. I talked to her, but she had things that she needed to take care of, and things happen, so I said, 'Sure,'" recalled Alice Lombardi, the bakery's owner.
Worcester police say that's the last time she was seen or heard from by family or friends.
On Saturday, Lombardi knew something wasn't right.
"For her not to even call in and not show up is just unheard of," she said. "She's literally never called out. She is a model employee."

Police investigate SUV matching description from missing woman case
"She has not shown up to work or contacted friends or family, which is unlike her," police said.
Members of the Worcester Police Department are investigating an SUV that matches the description of a vehicle sought in connection with a woman who went missing on Friday.
Investigators were seen working the parking lot outside Green Hill Towers, on Mount Vernon Street, where some residents said the vehicle matched the description provided by police.
The vehicle was later towed away from the scene and a medical examiner's van also arrived at the scene, also leaving the scene after some time.
