You can certainly see what he earns the big bucks.
You're actually talking about Brennen's opening? He stood there and told pork pies and they weren't even interesting pork pies, I had trouble making it to the end.

Alan Jackson on the other hand, wow. He is truly brilliant at what he does.

AJ's opening was outstanding.

Not surprising that a do-over from a talent like Brennan is way tighter and apparently will pay much more attention to the available data to fix the timing and attempt to eliminate the dog stuff.

CW Theory - JOK never had time to get in the house before he was hit. According to CW he exited the car, checked a message from JMc, locked his phone again, and was hit 7 seconds later.

I wonder how they will established the "7 seconds' part. Seems like the trial might turn on whether the CW can be so precise.

Powerful opening by AJ. Very pleased that he included JO's body temp, I think that is/will be really important.

Alan Jackson's Opening condensed:

There was no Collision
Michael Proctor is a crooked, conflicted fired cop.

Reasonable Doubt right there.

I think the defenses has proved one thing: Alan Jackson and Johnnie Cochran are brothers.

Hi there, new to following the trial this time but have done alot of reading on the first trial etc.
Not decided yet on Guilt BARD but thought the prosecutor did a very powerful opening. The defence was okay but I thought came across as a little too aggressive and almost shouting at times.

The retrials I have watched have always ended in a guilty verdict, prosecutors know what evidence to focus on and what to ignore, witnesses are more confident and know what is coming and find the second go round easier, I expect Proctor to be a very different witness, much less bothered by what defence says as he has been fired and has nothing to lose, laying my cards I think she will be found G of all charges, let’s see if the trial changes my opinion

At the end of the day she has to live with what she did. No big dollar lawyer will take that away.

If I ever murder anyone he will be my first call!

I am not sure she is G, I just think she will be found G, I struggle to get beyond the corruption, so I think the actual truth was lost once LE began tampering with evidence and lying about evidence, then witnesses lied, if their was no reason to lie why lie, and why hide evidence from defence, JOK was a police officer, the case should have been investigated as professionally perfect as possible,

Yet LE are collecting blood his blood in red cups, not collecting or documenting his clothes properly, I have huge issues with LE in this case, and saw no real evidence to prove a collision in first trial,

And why do we need chapter and verse of first witness employment history, we all know what a fire fighter and a paramedic is

Oh Good Grief !
Waiting for the " Who? If Anyone was driving the ambulance?"
and the " Were those high top tables in your ambulance?" questions...

🤣

Law and crime on YouTube is giving me so many ads.

Alan Jackson was on fire in his opening! Just the right amount of emotion and a ton of clarity in basic terms.

I am curious... How many of you believe that Karen Read is guilty? And how many of you believe that something else happened that night?

I struggle to comprehend how a car hitting JOK caused the injuries that were found plus the absence of injuries one would expect, but the investigation left so much to be desired I don’t think we will ever know exactly what happened,
I could never vote G as the state relied upon LE who IMO were corrupt, but a retrial favours the state IMO so for now I expect the outcome to be G

The ubiquitous “I hit him” from first witness, I think it’s odd that everybody on scene close to JOK and KR didn’t recall her saying this
