That’s it folks. Next week is full days, every day.

So as in the 1st trial it's been two weeks and there has not been one single thing that shows that Karen Read hit and killed JOK! All that we learned this week is that every witness the CW has called been a disaster! We haven't even heard from all the disgraced and disciplined police officers who botched the investigation yet!

The jury is not going to be thinking about BAC levels over the weekend. They are going to be thinking the train-wreck that was jen mcabe!

JMO, speculative. So, how many $ down the drain for the CW and their tax payers for the cost of retaining 'special prosecutor' Brennan when the jury comes back with an acquittal or they hang? Hundreds of thousands. Moo
I don’t know how the DA can justify the cost to the taxpayers. Why was a special prosecutor necessary? The case against KR should have been provable BARD with any of the available prosecutors in their district or it should have been dropped.

I wouldn't say outstanding. IMO
Agree. That’s definitely not a word I would use in relation to Jenn. She did not do the prosecution any favors.

I had to run out and missed the most important (to me) moment when Jackson was questioning JMc…. Holy crap. He’s right and I never thought of it before, if there’s a severely injured or dead man on your sister’s lawn, and she hasn’t picked up the phone, why aren’t you worried? Because something could’ve happened after she went home, for all she knows. Why weren’t you worried?!

And then JMc saying about the tail light, that was just her injecting things that were not even relevant at that point in time. She was trying so hard to fight back and give her own explanation. That was insane imo.

How do you just never knock on your sister’s door?! You need help, first responders? KNOCK ON THAT DOOR! Ring the doorbell! Something! (Unless you had reason not to..)

Imo she had already lost credibility through cross but this just sealed it for me. Didn’t believe her in trial 1 and still don’t.

Brian Albert has lived in that house for decades. The guy across the street was a retired cop. There is no way JM didn’t know this. She had 2 people within steps of John’s body that she could have gone to but didn’t. Both had medical training and even if they didn’t, they had warm blankets. This woman is evil. I really hope police at some level investigate her and some of the other colluders once this is done.

It is literally unbelievable.

And not even ‘a guy’ as Jen said in her 911 phone calls. Even if it was a man I’d never seen before, I’d still be checking on my sister. But no - this ‘guy’ was a close friend in my circle and was supposed to be AT my sisters house last night!!! I’d be breaking the door down.

Lets not forget she didn't know CPR either. Crazy .
I went to my first responder neighbor before calling 911. Because in my panic I thought it would be faster. It worked out for me. Luckily . My advise is run and call.

As i noted, she only need a

You don't need to be a particularly talented driver to manage 40mph on empty suburban roads in a powerful late model lexus. IMO

In any event, it's clearly well within the bounds of what is possible.
On this thread, someone who lives in the area and has driven those roads, says that she doesn’t believe it’d be possible to do in 4 minutes. I’m so sorry, I can’t remember her name, but I greatly appreciate her personal experience.
In addition, it doesn’t take much snow/frozen precip on the road to make it very slick.
Edited to add MOO.

I don’t think she realized she hit him. She floored it in reverse to scare him, hit him, torment him, or who knows why. She previously stated her music was blaring. I don’t think she knew she hit him.

All MOO
The CW has not offered up any evidence to prove that John was hit by a car. Initially, Karen thought she or a plow may have hit him because he was missing and she was just throwing out possibilities, due to panic.

I hate to admit this, but I'm a lot like KR. I don't do well under pressure. I would react the same way if someone was gaslighting me the way JOK was. I also always jump to the worst possible scenario in situations like this. In her altered state she was thinking he was with another woman inside the house. When she sobered up a bit in the early morning hours, she turned to "he's dead." I'm like that all the time. If I hear a fire engine, I think it's for my kids. I call them to make sure they are safe. They already know I do this by now, so they get it. Find My iPhone app does wonders for me, as I can always see where my loved ones are.

Jackson not organized this time. Shame on him. Wasting court time. moo

Google search already debunked.
I’m watching today’s testimony now, and I think he’s on fire today.ETA: moo

I must say that it feels safer and more comfortable without Paul O'Keefe sitting right up front staring down Karen Read, her lawyers and the jury constantly. I don't think he likes being relegated to the back row.

Group chat between

Yep. Telling the jury ‘these texts are not to be considered the truth.” What does that even mean?
Is she being impartial or biased ? It sures seems it . Mo

Defense has nothing at this time.

The 2:27 am debunked by Cellebrite.
Jackson wanted the witness to point out her sister.
He calls her out for saying sorry.

They got absolutely nothing.

What evidence has the CW (T1&T2, so far) presented to show that Mr. O’Keefe was hit by a vehicle? I may have missed it during T1.

IMO she was looking for his phone.
Yes @kuromiiiilove …. and IIRC it was found under him perhaps? (Someone here helped clarify something about this last week. But I won’t be able to find it now.)

And if that is the case, wonder if that was why there is some mention of whether or not he was turned over? Maybe someone was looking for that phone? MOO

She said the same thing when the CW was presenting texts so in this case I’m relieved to say impartial.

If he was found lying on his stomach and turned over, Kerry would have had no need to brush all that snow off his face, like she testified to. Kerry said she didn't recognize him until she brushed all the snow off (which would only be the case if he was on his back). Also, Karen spoke about wanting to move John into the recovery position, and Kerry wouldn't allow it, telling her not to move him.
