Not to mention that the investigation was a total disservice to John O’Keefe who was a fellow police officer. I’ve always known and heard LE goes out of their way for one of their own.

IMO They showed John O’Keefe no respect in life and they showed him no respect in death.
He had two strikes against him - he was an outsider to Canton( moved into his sister’s house to take care of the kids) and he was an honest cop.
John was not like BA ( task force /fugitives) or BH (atf) - the two stereotypical seemingly Monday nite RAW types who worked in the margins/off grid. He was a law and order rules type guy.

I think he would be very disappointed in what has transpired with the non existent investigation.

Karen did not want to go the after party. She did not feel well, they were not close friends with this crowd. John wanted to go. To this day I wonder why. It could have just been the booze - let’s keep it going type thing or he wanted to be in the “in” crowd with the men.

And Chris A grabbing BH's arm as they were leaving the bar, and then BH shouting at John to make sure he was following them to Albert's.....something very very fishy. imo. Jen trying to spit up John and Karen. So many odd unexplained issues. imo.

I think if Jen was in fact giving any means looks, it was the result of Jacksons’s bullish like behaviour and continually repeating himself in hopes of getting the answers he wanted or tripping up the witness. I was delighted to see her hold her own. IMO of course.

I agree with you, she did hold her own.
But why would she need to hold her own as a witness? This makes her look so much more ridiculous, since she is not the one on trial. A witness relaying information doesn't need to hold their own. They simply need to tell the truth and not get defensive or argumentative with the defense lawyer asking. That in itself illustrates how messed up Jen is. She acts like she's on trial when the lawyers are simply trying to understand what was said and when... She clearly hates Karen Read and like another poster suggested, likely for a long time due to jealousy.

I can’t remember if there were differences in his feet regarding cold exposure. Does anyone remember? If he was in the snow with only one shoe, the exposed foot would show more tissue damage.

The magnificent buffalo, pride of the west, where the buffalo roam. Unfortunately, John the buffalo was taken out thanks to the defendant. I stand corrected she’s shown some empathy.. sociopath.


She also spoke about the morning she was able to see her boyfriend in the snow.

She grilled herself. If she would have responded with a yes or no when asked a question, then she wouldn't have been asked repeatedly to answer it. No, she had to put her own spin on things which the judge should never have allowed.

My opinion: Video captures the true essence of the defendant, when she doesnt get her way.

Depiction is from trial one, she’s losing it right in front of the jurors. Jackson reminds her jurors have not existed yet. Attempts to calm down, tighten of lips.

Jen McCabe said that jeep was right there at the mailbox the entire time she looked out the windows and door at Karen's SUV. However, Ryan Nagel and his girlfriend and his driver (all 3 of them in the truck) testified there was no jeep there when they immediately pulled up behind Karen's SUV. It's obvious who is lying!

ETA: JenMc was even trying to ignore her previous testimony by glossing over the jeep entirely as her testimony continued in T2. She kept saying she saw Miss Read's SUV out front and pulled up to the flagpole, and then in her peripheral vision, she saw lights from the truck Nagel was in. No mention of the jeep in her description this time around, even after AJ examined her on the jeep. She obviously thinks she can change her testimony at any time despite what she initially told the investigators.

What I like about ADA Brennan, is that he wants the witness to own their testimony- he doesnt put words into their mouths. He doesnt want them to assume anything. If they dont know it, then they dont know it, thats okay with him. in my opinion he only wants a conviction on facts, not to simply win a case.

ADA Brennan is brilliant and compassionate.

That was the least of Proctor's worries apparently. Jen is pretty much calling all of LE a bunch of liars who didn't write what she says she said. Not just Proctor, but Sgt Goode and Sgt Lank and Officer Melaney and two agents of the FBI, and the Grand Jury, and who else? Nobody got it right but Jen, even though she keeps saying how traumatized she was. She's doing her best to muddy the waters just to push the knife deeper into Karen Read.

Yes. There's no point in splitting hairs We haven't heard from Proctor yet, but both JMc and Proctor imo will be be shown to be unreliable in their own unique ways. It isn't necessary to pretend their questionable actions/ testimony have to be mutually exclusive. Jmo

When JMc spoke with Proctor he probably recorded what she said without embellishment. Because, do we really think Proctor would not have written down "I hit him" x3 in his report if JMc had really relayed those words to him at the time she claims she did?!

The evidence against Proctor as per trial x1 shows imo that his forte, so to speak, wasn't really changing witness testimony. That is much more JMc's forte as we have already seen. Proctor's probs are of a different order; they are centred on his misogynistic, unprofessional tunnel visioned obsession with KR, an obsession which foreclosed the possibility of an impartial investigation (failure to investigate others, then his exclusive access to evidence/videos that are open to manipulation). On top of that specificity, imo Proctor was also exposed as incompetent and unprofessional in basic investigative procedures and protocols (no chain of custody logs on his side, items MIA for weeks, as two e.gs). Jmo
