There was no temp data between 1:36am and 6:06am. Logic alone tells me the battery would drop more than it did in those 4.5hrs. Whiffin should have stayed in his lane and not delved into battery temp because his testimony helped the defense.
Do you know what effect a human being lying on top of a phone would have on the battery temperature?

It dropped 22 degrees f in the first hour alone. From 72 degrees f at 12.37am to 50 degrees f at 1.36am.

Logic tells me John was never indoors with those temp drops continually and steadily decreasing until he was found.

How did you determine the temperature would have dropped more than it did?

Do you know the temperature of John's body at just after 6am? His body temp was 80.1 degrees at the hospital, just before 7am after they had tried to warm him. (Karen Read trial: Voicemails for John O'Keefe played, sparring over location data)

Who wants to bet JMc left the courtroom and immediately texted KerR, her chat group of MMc, NA and BA, Peg O'K, CA and JA, and who else am I missing. To keep them informed of the shock and the horraw of being subjected to such questioning! Oh, and to tell them how grand she was on the witness stand of course.
I agree she probably did text a few of the people or all the people you noted above. After all, they are her support system. And, after a long day of being on the hot seat, I don’t blame her.

What she is doing is called Grandstanding but it is working against her.
I don’t think she was grandstanding at all. She was holding her own very well and sticking to her truths.

LE and the CW did themselves, (and Karen Read), a real disservice by conducting one of the worst investigations that I have ever seen.
But what is really amazing to me is that all those officers’ and investigators’ reports and notes, the Grand Jury transcripts, and other trial/court records have all failed to report correctly what JmcC told them, (because she knows what she told them and she knows the truth).

What about the lies she was caught in?

"Her truths".
Exactly.
There is a very large gap between Jen's truths and actual facts.
IMO, as always.

What about the lies she was caught in?
I do think some of her so called “lies” are a result of memory problems due to complex trauma. Furthermore, I believe she is reliving some of the trauma while in the witness box. Additionally, it is my opinion that she did very well as a witness for someone who experienced what she did and and the fact that she has been constantly harassed as a result of her assertions. This is my opinion and I am aware it is not a popular opinion, but it is what it is.

Again, it's my opinion, due to that fakey mean-girlish crap from Jen.
I was noticing the same thing about Jen acting like a mean-girl. Every time she got a dig in at Karen, she'd look that way towards where she sits at the defense table. She'd give a side glance in her direction, as if to say, "There! Got you!" Just like a mean girl would do. Now, we all know Jen is no girl anymore despite the sisters' juvenile nicknames, but JJ acts like a mean juvenile with an attitude towards Karen. It's obvious Jen just wants to get Karen, to embarrass her, to degrade her.
Karen was out of her league with all those many middle aged women involving themselves in John's life.
MOO

If I'm understanding correctly, Proctor was reliable when it came to note taking, but unreliable in everything else he did.

😂 I think if Jen was in fact giving any means looks, it was the result of Jacksons’s bullish like behaviour and continually repeating himself in hopes of getting the answers he wanted or tripping up the witness. I was delighted to see her hold her own. IMO of course.

Exactly, Jackson can’t have it both ways.

I agree with this.

How about this, the closest I can get is chatgpt. Putting in weather and wind and the parameters the CW states, JOK’s body temp would have been lower. His extremities would have had more effects of hypothermia. I suspect the defense will focus on this in their case. That his body temp was 80 in the morning, doesn’t follow science.

Curious as to why JO didn't have frostbite after supposedly laying out in the elements all night.

Welp. There's Jen McCabe who testified today that she saw taillight near John O'Keefe's body which is why she didn't bother to go check on her sister and her family. Family that somehow didn't notice all the screaming going on 25 - 30 feet away from their front facing bedroom window.

Taillight that NO ONE ELSE saw that morning. Including the Canton PD who used a leaf blower to search the area and found nothing.

<modsnip>
That’s all I’ve heard, as well. No actual proof that he suffered a fatal car strike.
Jen Mc does seem to have ‘selective seeing’ when it comes to her testimony. She sees tire tracks in the snow ‘making weird waves’ in the road, but misses a 6”2’ person lying in the snow, dressed in black. Hmmmm….🤨. Moo.

That was the least of Proctor's worries apparently. Jen is pretty much calling all of LE a bunch of liars who didn't write what she says she said. Not just Proctor, but Sgt Goode and Sgt Lank and Officer Melaney and two agents of the FBI, and the Grand Jury, and who else? Nobody got it right but Jen, even though she keeps saying how traumatized she was. She's doing her best to muddy the waters just to push the knife deeper into Karen Read.
MOO.

Nice to see you here @OldCop.

Not to mention that the investigation was a total disservice to John O’Keefe who was a fellow police officer. I’ve always known and heard LE goes out of their way for one of their own.

Just a head shaker.

IMO They showed John O’Keefe no respect in life and they showed him no respect in death.
He had two strikes against him - he was an outsider to Canton( moved into his sister’s house to take care of the kids) and he was an honest cop.
John was not like BA ( task force /fugitives) or BH (atf) - the two stereotypical seemingly Monday nite RAW types who worked in the margins/off grid. He was a law and order rules type guy.

I think he would be very disappointed in what has transpired with the non existent investigation.

Karen did not want to go the after party. She did not feel well, they were not close friends with this crowd. John wanted to go. To this day I wonder why. It could have just been the booze - let’s keep it going type thing or he wanted to be in the “in” crowd with the men.

Water under the dam as they say.
JMO.

Why would she be on the hot seat if she's telling the truth! It should be just a matter of stating the facts, but her facts have changed over time, so yes, she put herself on the hot seat. Yes, we know all about JenMc's "support system", a bunch of dysfunctional drunken family members who colluded together to ensure KR got arrested and charged with 2nd Degree Murder.

How would you like to get grilled over and over again by Jackson? Having your words switched around and asked the same question twenty different ways. 😯 😊
