Is SB referring to his original report that he claims this was copied from that mentions that he completed "additional" analysis?


The May 8th report says "Pursuant to your request, I have completed an additional analysis concerning the above reference matter."

I am so cynical, this could be the beginning of the shedding of defense friendly jurors as noted/perceived by ...someone? I posted much earlier on, half joking, that jurors should keep poker faces if they want to get as far closing arguments and the random draw. I know this might be about something else of course but here we go again, in no other trial I've ever watched has this kind of thing happened. Just one more freaky thing along with everything else. Jmo

NEW -- Jury issue. Jury is here now, 9:31 AM. Judge tells the jury an issue has come to her attention that makes it that she needs to speak to each juror individually at sidebar. Jury will be sent back to deliberation room and called in 1 by 1.

Everyone except lawyers was asked to leave the courtroom. Only lawyers, the judge, and individual jurors will be in the room while this questioning happens. Media were moved to the first floor of courthouse to wait. #WBZ

No cross by the defense on the digital forensic data. Their only focus on whether Mr. Burgess had a degree or not.

ADA Brennan strategy never disappoints. Knew we would be blessed with Karen clips, but three clips in one day! What a treat. Thank you, ADA Brennan.

Much respect to SB, who showed much discipline and respectful while under Alessi's cross.
Alessi would be more effective if he changed his tone and how he approaches a witness. His tone is all wrong, really creepy.

An eight hour day wasted by Alessi and ADA Brennan cleans up his mess in less than 15 minutes. Brilliant!

My own opinion.

I still don't understand why defense attorneys are expected to hold CW witnesses' hands while cross examining then. But when HB is yelling at his own ME witness that is totally acceptable. Very glaring double standard seen in above post. JMO

I’m in school, (never too old to go back), and if I copy pasted with something “incorrect”, I’d definitely lose points on that assignment/paper. Probably with a note that would tell me to proof-read and edit better.

So yeah, no big deal if an “expert” does it in a court of law.

I don’t think he copy and pasted. Brennan himself said he asked either him or aperture to go back and look at the discrepancy in time. Then, a couple of minutes later Brennan said he was surprised and Burgess acted alone. So who knows.
