I would like to know what Karen and Brian Higgins talked about when she visited his place that night. She told Higgins about the trip to Aruba where JOK was lushing over a younger woman (at least that was Karen's view of it and I can believe it). I know she never spoke poorly of JOK in her texts to BH or to JOK, but did Higgins think he was being a knight in shining armor by sucker punching JOK that night as they passed each other at the Alberts, for the way BH perceived he was treating Karen.
MOO
Wasn't it right after KR visited him that she started ghosting him?
I remember thinking that something must have turned-off KR during the visit, maybe his living conditions? lol

Something definitly turned her off after that lol Didn't he live in a basement suite? She doesn't strike me as someone that would be impressed by that lol

I think she was envisioning him differently than how he actually was, then the goggles came off as does happen, fast. Frustration and not really knowing what direction to take , caught up in emotions and feeling the ground not sturdy but sometimes it did. ALL such terrible timing everywhere you look. The needing some sort of affirmation from someone else that seemed a solid guy turned out a big misjudgement she realized. Yes, sometimes we do crazy things and hope for the best, like NO drama over it or unearthing. Did not happen in this case. IMO

All I remember from his testimony was after he sold his house he moved into what he referred to as an "in-law apt.",

Just curious, does anyone know where Higgins would have been stationed had Berkowitz not given him an office at CPD?

ahh I knew it was some sort of a suite! I didn't watch his testimony from Season 1. I think I missed the first few weeks last year, with all the "house" people.

If head injury was due to falling over.
Drunk people fall over.
People on wet snowy grass fall over.
Drunk people on wet snowy grass are very likely to fall over.

The more I think about it, the more I think Brennan made a mistake calling Dr Wolf to advance this theory. If Welcher can't deliver something overwhelmingly compelling ( which seems highly doubtful to me) then there's a very reasonable and benign answer right there. In any event, from one angle all Dr Wolf did was provided one possible massive reasonable doubt. Jmo

Bridgewater Field Office.
AJ asked him where he was assigned in 2022.

BH told AJ when he came back from break after reading his and KR's text messages.

I'd sure like to know why Brennan chose Dr. Wolf, a Miami brain surgeon to begin with.

Thanks, I was just wondering why he would prefer an office in Canton rather than wherever he had been or would normally be stationed.

Like she said it's just plain common sense. A 4000 pound SUV doesn't leave scratches on an arm but shatter into 47 pieces. That people could think that is possible is amazing to me.
It's the biggest load of...I have ever heard ( well not the biggest really, but it sure is a big load of..) Jmo

My son is home from college and since he is planning on attending law school, I'm constantly filling him in on the latest trial news. He told me last night that his TikTok (again, he's a college student lol) is flooded with pro-Alessi videos. I went and looked at a few last night and Alessi is definitely winning the hearts of a lot of people (myself included!).

IMO
It's easy to see why. All of KR's attorneys have one thing going for them over the prosecution and that is sincerity. Jmo

Purely speculative….the one comment that was surprising was that JOK could have been alive 1-3 hours after the accident. I think CW used Dr Wolf to state he may have been saved if he received medical treatment. Brennan is pushing hard for the murder 2 charge, IMO, knowing the first jurors were unanimous in finding her not guilty of that charge.

They'll call Higgins and BA. Butt dials and butt answers. BH yelling and gesturing at JO at the Waterfall, minutes before something really bad happens to John, drunkeness, destroying their phones the day before they receive the official preservation orders. With Higgins going so far as to destroy his SIM card at a military base no less. Higgins breaking federal law by illegally using FBI equipment to extract info from his phone. They are both very important potential third party culprits for the defense.
Agree, I really think at a minimum of those present at 34 that night, Higgins and BA are on the defense's menu. Could be as entree or perhaps a dessert. I believe the main course will be ARRCA and their animal attack experts. Jmo

It’s fascinating to me that the existence of the SD Card and recovery of the user data never leaked pretrial.

Has anyone seen John's socks, they didn't appear to make it into evidence.
He has one untied shoe which he wasn't wearing, and the socks are in the hospital pictures.
But they weren't passed into evidence or did I somehow miss that?

Only a small percentage of the evidence amassed in a case is put into evidence.
