Am I hearing that the judge will allow some of these text messages in??

Hard to reconcile this decision with the idea the Judge is biased or corrupt.

She could easily have kept these out, but did not because she made the decision on the merits as she sees them. Brennan could be justifiably miffed with the decision.

Absolutely key decision for the defence as it seems they are scared to call Proctor for some reason.

IMO

A new witness is expected on the stand Monday morning. We know that it's a witness who did not testify in the first trial, a former Canton police officer.
We asked Read outside of court Friday about what we can expect from them, and she responded with, "You'll see."
I'm so excited for this!!👏

So HB asks about MP being fired! Side-bah time...

NOW??? Hank is bringing up that MP was fired?

Objection! from Yanetti

Probably because Brennan is trying to make it seem like he was just fired for those comments, not for investigative misconduct and day drinking on the job…

See, if I kill 3000 people but I let one live, that doesn't mean I'm not a murderer just as JBC making one ruling for the defense doesn't mean she is suddenly fair. JMO

Aware of optics and public sentiment and trying to CYA doesn’t = not biased. MOO.

The CW was also scared to call their own lead investigator?

Think we need a source for "easily kept these out." Any legal commentary on this, even from Court TV which is notoriously pro-CW, discussed how bad HB's argument was and how the judge would be straining to find any legal backing to keep the texts out

I think it's just a matter of law. There was really no way she couldn't allow them when she has already allowed others to do the same. IMO

I am just listening at the moment... but not sure why the defense didn't get him to read the texts and Brennan is? weird lol

Why is Brennan having Diamandis read more?

after talking to the paramedic?

thought that he was in the fight? why would that be?

It appears to me that YB opened that door during his direct by brennan as he talked about it and even admitted to being disciplined because of his involvement in it and for not properly supervising proctor. YB even read parts of it.

I feel sorry for this guy... he really does not want to say what these texts say...

I'd be mad that my "friend" put me in this situation. JMO

I'm so confused at why Yanetti didn't have him go through the texts and Brennen is - was Yanetti not going to have them read, or only on redirect?
