ARCCA was given a set of facts and evidence and looked at numerous theories, one including the glass being thrown at the tail light.

Considering the CW has yet to give us a coherent theory, ARCCA looking at numerous possibilities is a bit more representative of what most people are thinking... how did this happen?

ARCCA just has the ability and the brains to do the testing.

IMO
If the prosecution would have at least called these ARCCA guys when they got the report to discuss their conclusions we might not be here right now. Just think of that. All the money the cw spent / Karen’s life on hold her finances depleted etc.
And they had the report for FREE
Aperture cost at least 400 k and their products appeared to be substandard at best.
SMH throughout this trial at the DA’s office and the choices they have made.

IMO the witness had no credibility which is a choice myself or a juror is free to determine. I've included an interesting source in helping to determine that decision.

Her credibility is moot- she didn’t share anything of any relevance- did she?

If she did share something that was important what was it?
I can’t figure out why the defense put her on the stand, and no one else seems to know either.

We can all agree she did not come across well- for herself personally and likely for her career.

But, she was a witness chosen by the defense.
Wouldn’t they have already met with her and know how she could come across? And what she would say?

IMO

Regarding the smashed to bits tail light ...... Has no one considered that JOK might have been wearing a titanium elbow guard packed with "outward facing explosives" like some types of land mine?
Lmao

Jackson trying to get Wolfe to explain what Welcher did and didn't do, and we get another objection.

Trying to get out that Welcher did not use the core equations of physics to come to his conclusions.
On what basis the objection. Did JC sustain it??

If Devers in fact did perjure herself- how will we find out?
For her life- I’m not sure it matters. Being pulled into this high profile case did her no favors.
I cannot imagine what the KR minions are doing to her on social media.

If there is an advocate for witnesses that helped her prepare- they need to be fired.
I’ll be curious to find out what actually happened

IMO

I have no sympathy for anyone telling lies in a court of law and that is what I believe she has done with a horrible disrespectful attitude. Her disrespectful arrogant attitude was completely off-putting. JMOO

It is possible she is married, just like it is possible she is terrified she may have committed perjury, by accident, and is trying to make it right but doesn't’ exactly know how.

I assumed she is single because of her age and very well could be wrong. That error says nothing about her character, or mine.

You assumed
- she is upset
- and is upset because she was publicly accused of telling lies in court
- is not deserving of empathy or pity
- she is a liar
- she knowingly lied
- she retracted a lie
- she retracted a lie due to pressure from the Commish
- she is among a group of arrogant, angry, lying cops.

It is possible neither of us know the truth here.

I’m not on any band wagon, have no horse in the race, and have sworn no allegiance to any side on this case. So- to me she is not an enemy needing to be admonished in public.

My questions were related to the relevant evidence in this case, that’s it

OK, so what was the reason the defense called Devers to testify? I can speculate

I can speculate that she thought she had important information, and went to the FBI.
When she changed her testimony- for whatever reason, she felt pressure from the defense.
The defense knew she protested that they had pressured here, and tattled on them.
So the defense called her on the stand to admonish her in public, which they did.
My speculations only

If not- what was the reason? I’m missing it

IMO
You state you’re not on any band wagon, yet use phrases and words like KR minions and tattled. You definitely don’t appear impartial to me. Dever was a problematic witness for LE/CW. Her motives aren’t necessary to see the damage she caused the CW’s case due to the “false memory” she states she got after meeting with COX. It wouldn’t be as suspicious if she changed her memory prior to the meeting. IMO

I’m sympathetic to any female working in a male dominated field. Sometimes you have to flex and shift your values to survive and thrive. I’m sure she’s not the first person to get a case of amnesia under pressure from leadership. I’m certain I’d never lie and put someone’s freedom in jeopardy to further my professional career, but not everyone shares my values. All IMHO.

Isn’t Massachusetts one of the most educated states? I believe the jurors are seeing and understanding most if not all of what we are - very hard for me to believe KR will be found guilty of murder or manslaughter. I believe it’s an insult to their intelligence for the CW to try and fool them with their “case”…the one where they haven’t proved anything besides the fact that JOK died.

eta imo
Education does not always equal critical thinking and the ability to accurately assess data in the real world.
Educated people do not all think logically some may lean to viewing things through an emotional filter.
But yes a highly educated state.

You are right. But it sure does make me feel better when people like dr Wolfe are on the stand

‘Dr. Wolfe is entirely contradicting the prosecution's case, substantially boosting PO Barros' testimony about the condition of the taillight, severely undermining Welcher, damaging the credibility of McCabe's, Roberts', and Bukhenik's claims about their observation of the condition of the taillight, and further discrediting the ghost of the non-existent former Trooper Proctor. He is a wrecking ball to the DA's ability to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.’

ARCCA used crash test dummies.

Geez...
Alan Jackson has been trying to get Wolfe's opinion ( That Welcher's opinion via non scientific testing.. stinks ) Judge won't allow his opinion in...
( Protecting the CW there much, Judge ???)

IMO, they called Devers to account for Higgins because the defense is not calling him. Back to the real recollection of Devers-- not the false memory bs...

The Judge is trying not to seem biased but the looks on her face show her disdain for the defense. IMO
She doesn't care who sees it.

The rot, that is.

Ok, I have no opinion as to what she needs to be doing with her life.
My guess is she will be hiding for a while. The public is going to make her life miserable-

Could be the defense wanted to know if she would do the right thing and reaffirm her original statement to the FBI. JMOO

Oh we're gonna see some real experimentation on what might happen when an arm hits a tail light....awesome!

The amount of variables he used in his process is what true science is all about. Not just dressing up and using blue paint.

The difference between wolfe and welcher is vast. Sorry welcher, you look like an amateur.
It’s not even a fair contest.
Bringing Aperture back to rebutt ARCCA will just highlite that. I wonder if I might not do that if I am the P.
