I would not keep a dog around that bit me in any circumstances and make no excuses for that decision. That is not a dog worth keeping and is a danger to all. JMOO

In all due respect, she attacked the neighbor too. She just wasn't dog aggressive. So its highly probable she attacked John as well. Prosecutors want doctor's "dog bite" testimony kept out of Karen Read's second trial

I learned a valuable lesson. I will never own two protection dogs at once. I spend years playing musical rooms keeping them separated. Both were highly trained but jealousy is a terrible thing.

I have personally witnessed friends and family explain away how their sweet little pet didn't mean to bite them until situations arose that they could no longer explain away(to include injuries) and had to have their animal put down. Sad situation all around. JMOO

I think the dog DNA would have most definitely been degraded due to JOKs body lying in the wet snow.

Says a lot. BA and BH all knew exactly what to say and not, oh and nor forget the main topic on this JMc. SHE is hugely lawyered up and was at that time. Top atty in homicides in the area for the defense. BIG bucks, I wonder how, but she got a massively expensive one. She along with the rest of the team were heavily instructed on what and what not, from 'the best'. Clearly he knew lieing in court would be fine though, ways around it without being charged with perjury up the road.. not sure how though. IMO

I think Jen McCabe has Kevin Reddington for her lawyer who represented Whitey's girfriend Catherine Grieg, while Brennan represented Whitey Bulger after they were apprehended. See how that works ?

If I had to guess Jenn Mc is not paying for her lawyer - it's coming out of some type of miscellaneous fund from the DA's office/ - but that is JMO

In some instances a young dog can be taught to be aggressive and attack. I wouldn't be surprised if given the psuedo-macho environment in that household that might have happened here, IMO. Cloe is also a victim in this whole thing.

Wow, what is it with the prosecution's side and being connected to the MOB. First Hank Brenan defends Whitey and now JM has a lawyer that defended Whitey's girlfriend. It makes me question the relationship between the two groups.

Not IMO. Putting teeth on any human being shows a dog is dangerous and unpredictable.

I’ve been in the pet industry for almost 25 years. I’ve see aggressive dogs towards humans. I’ve been bitten by a dog when I put my hand near his food bowl. That’s not human aggression it’s resource guarding. Some dogs who are dog aggressive redirect their aggression to a person that tries to break them up. That doesn’t make them aggressive to people, it’s redirected. Other dogs are aggressive because they’ve been trained to be so. Others are hard wired that way. Others are aggressive because they are sick or in pain. My point is we can’t deem Chloe to be people aggressive without knowing more about her specific situation.

IIRC, wasn’t Chloe adapted from a shelter in TX? Did Chloe flunk K-9 training? ETA clarification.
