Dr. Russel is an amazing person. If you get time to search the web for the messages the people who have worked with her have posted ,please do .I want her to speak to my local elementary school kidsI missed the beginning of Dr. Russell’s testimony. I know that she worked as an ER Dr. at a prominent trauma hospital and is a former police officer. Did she specialize/train in dog bites? My sil was an ER nurse at a trauma hospital and they were not fortunate enough to have a Dr. who specialized in dog/animal bites.
From reading an article originally posted by @missy1974 and reposted by me up thread, Dr Russell was trained by one of the premier ME's in LA back in the day. She had an interest in photography when she took pics of various tattoos on street gang members that represented a different language in code words/imagery. From her study of patterns, she was able to observe and identify hidden meanings of these tattoos that helped her to diagnose and treat people in the emergency rooms. I imagine she transferred her visual interest of patterns to dog bites. She has studied and photographed dog wounds for many years. It was also said that she worked in prisons as a ME and supervisor, plus she teaches classes. Her experience is extensive and varied, a very unique skillset.I missed the beginning of Dr. Russell’s testimony. It would be too premature - the best evidence is yet to come !Do you think the Defence should just rest so? If it seems a slam dunk, would now be the best time to finish rather than let any more confusion arise?
Karen Read deserves to be found guilty of DUI for sure! But she wasn't even charged with that because, well, Proctor and the rest of the gangsters thought it was an open and shut case for M2 because you know, she's a whack job.It was a step towards justice. The fact is KR is innocent of her charges ,other than her DUI. Which should have been charged on scene.
Sorry but the defense doesn't have to PROVE she was framed. They just have to prove reasonable doubt and the fact that the CW can't even prove John was hit by a car is reasonable doubt by itself. If you look at the bones of the case i.e. what does the state have to prove, I think it's pretty clear the defence has evidential work to do for a couple of reasons.
First up, Brennan has achieved a much better version of the case than Lally got. That is partly good fortune, as Burgess' ingenuity in extracting the Lexus user data from the SD card effectively proves the defendant drove at high speed outside Fairview. Because that high speed reversing gives you a dangerous intentional act - the defence needs to focus on causation. So ARCCA at least need to sow some doubt that the John's fatal injury was directly caused by the defendant's high speed reverse. Based on last time, i think they will establish a plausible theory to compete with Welcher - but the D cannot rest without it.
Second, even with ARCCA, the defence still need enough evidence that the defendant was framed. For example, the tail light fragments cannot be found by SERT or be recovered in Johns shirt without either a collision or corrupt framing. This time the defence so far do not have access to Proctor, or their preferred culprits BA and BH. How they plug this up I am not sure. Maybe they mostly rely on ARCCA to imply framing if that makes sense.

Right ? all this extra is gravy.Sorry but the defense doesn't have to PROVE she was framed. They just have to prove reasonable doubt and the fact that the CW can't even prove John was hit by a car is reasonable doubt by itself.
I live here but in a different town - our guys plow like every two inches - serious overkill and a waste of money imo but thats what its like.I often wonder why the defence argues that Lucky would have seen John, because there wasn't any real snow to talk of at that time of the morning, yet there was enough snow to be out plowing the roads. Didn't Higgins also "plow" at 34 that night?Oh, maybe he got mixed up in his memory and was out plowing the following night, after the real snow fall.
Yes Higgins said in the first trial that he plowed the driveway when he arrived there from the waterfall - I am not sure why he did that though as didnt the meterologist say only enough at that time for "cat tracks". He then took his jeep with the plow attached up front and parked in front of the house.Didn't Higgins also "plow" at 34 that night?
Lucky was actually employed by DPW in Canton at the time, and they called him in that night IIRC.
Easily proven via timesheets, so no, this isn't a "false memory" from Lucky.
IMO.

Lucky for sure would have seen the body as would have any of the people coming and going into that house after the P's "drop dead" date of what 12;33am ish.
Brennan will give it his best shot to discredit this good samaritan. I hope HB's souless surly/nasty demeanor works as well on Lucky as it did on Dr Russell.

With all the things talked about in the numerous medias, considering the length of time and her professional life continuing on in-between, it's very possible, IMO.i could understand someone not remembering something and later correct their testimony if they happen to recall something they were unable to recollect earlier. It is very hard to believe someone who testifies to having seen something and then recants that testimony labeling it a "false memory". Did she dream it or have a vision.? It is so hard to give her testimony any credibility. Just imagine if everyone changed their stated testimony by simply labeling it a "false memory" It would be laughable if this situation was not so serious.
I wonder what color the various Edges were. I think BH's was white?Didn't Higgins also "plow" at 34 that night?
