Are these consistent with the shirt of JOK? Wolfe: inconsistent.

Sounds like the judge is starting off the week sighing loudly, wanting a “short” voir dire of a witness, and trying to push the defense’s case through
Yep! She should have refused herself from this trial. So unprofessional! Imo

Still going through what Dr. Laposata can and can't say... she will testify that he had no bruising on arms, torso, legs. This seems a bit tricky, what the defense can and can't ask and how.

They will do voir dire.

They intend to call their investigator... I didn't catch his name?
Don't broken bones cause swelling? And Randy seemed to have broken bones from the angle of his arms.

Yet, John did not show evidence of broken bones. IMO

zooming into all the road rash and damage to clothing.

Noting that his shoes are still on after a full on 29mph impact.

Good point. Yes, no way did a car hit John with a force enough to shattered tail lights. And poor Randy did not get up and walk 8ft? to the flag pole.

What is the significance of the 29mph testing when the CW said the car was going 24mph?

  • #448
Maybe it's because most of the defense's arguments are not correct and have no basis in law?
Can you be more specific by identifying which particular arguments have no basis in law and explaining why?

Maybe because it took that much force to break tail lights, and the inner parts of unit?

He definitively had no broken bones. Dr Scordi-Bello opened his body to look at them on autopsy. A lot of people say ‘there were no x rays’ but no imaging was needed - Dr SB saw his bones firsthand.

Good Morning!

I just love how the defense was able to put on the record during these motion hearings, that the judge ALLOWED Welcher to opine on wounds, he who had zero medical background, and yet now the CW wants a Dr, who has performed autopsies NOT to be able to opine on wounds? Because, as judge said..." she only did 5 Autopsies? " Goodness.
But...it's on the record..
This goes beyond the scope of the BS meter. Brennan is desperate and jmo cannone is sympathetic. That is not a a good combination. The defense knows this. It's good it's on the record and all that but moo the immediate and only aim is to try and hamstring the defense's case right now.

Leaving the defense attorneys in limbo over decisions re last minute motions is BS. Did the defense spend friggin time trying to limit the CW's case anytime anywhere after trial commenced on the flimsiest of or non-existent pretexts? Does Brennan think the defense don't know their own rights? Nope. The record is all well and good, but moo Brennan only cares about immediate results. He's desperate to 'win'. Smh

They are doing math...

how much lighter was the arm that Brennan talked about...

the arm they used, was 21% lighter, not 26% that Brennan kept saying on Friday.

Sidebar... sighhh

Not surprising their numbers are off once again!

Possibly because the car was still accelerating at the end of the techstream data, no braking at the point the data ended, meaning she was still increasing in speed.

Jackson said he has about 20 minutes left with Dr. Wolfe...

they will do voir dire of Laposata during morning recess (to see if she can testify about dog bites I believe? )
yes, she then looked at Brennen but didn't ask him how long he will take to throw his fisrt fit of the morning in cross.

John had no broken bones and no swelling per the ME.

Jackson is going over the calculations to show that the weight of the arm is insignificant in the calculation IMO

Jackson is making Wolfe "show his work" in court... on a Monday morning. My brain needs more coffee haha
