Actually none of the defense's expert witnesses so far (I'm still watching the ARCCA guy) have stood up under cross examination, IMO. I've watched the testimony and commented on it. Respectfully, if you believe differently that's fine. I think, IMO, that every expert defense witness has been challenged very effectively by the prosecution as well as Sgt Barros and Lucky the plow driver. AJMO, it's not looking good for the defense's case right now.BBM.
A few things you may be overlooking:
Did you see the DAMAGE to the rear of the Lexus after Test E? It had extensive damage, which is not visible on KR’s Lexus.
We saw the video of KR’s Lexus being loaded on the tow truck bed and there was only a 6” x 2.5” piece missing from her taillight.
Sgt. Barros testified he only saw a small piece of taillight missing from KR’s rear right taillight.
ME testified that his body did not appear to have been struck by a vehicle
Dr. Russell testified that his injuries were inconsistent with a vehicle strike
I know I’m missing more, but this is what springs to mind. Don’t forget that Dr. Wolfe’s experiments were not done to show injuries to the body, but whether or not they could duplicate the damage to the KR’s taillight by backing into a person. Dr. Rentschler will testify to the damage to John’s body.
I can understand some people not wanting to believe in a conspiracy or corruption, BUT when folks find themselves discounting lots and lots of exculpatory evidence, it makes it seem like confirmation bias has set in. Just MOO.
Thank you to all who have been posting in Sandra Birchmore’s thread. I hadn’t paid much attention to that case because KR’s was getting so much more attention. The info opened my eyes to the level of corruption happening in Norfolk County. I would encourage anyone on the fence about this case, read about Sandra Birchmore. It will break your heart. Moo
I think that anyone watching knows what just happened, whether a judge will actually 'say it' or not.It wasn't a mistake but a downright lie!
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I don’t trust people in my real life who often make ‘mistakes’ or have ‘misunderstandings’. I consider it a free pass for a liar to attempt lie 2. MOOIt wasn't a mistake but a downright lie!
If it's going so great for the CW why are they resorting to making up lies like they just now got caught in?Actually none of the defense's expert witnesses so far (I'm still watching the ARCCA guy) have stood up under cross examination, IMO. He actually used himself but not to be hit at high speed. I still can't believe the defense put this Test E out there, I guess they had no choice. The prosecution would have if they didn't. MOcould you explain to me why Dr. Welcher used the same 50 percentile dummy in his testing?
She should have admonished Brennan and the Commonwealth.OMG, she is so rude herself. Someone needs to look into this Judge. The heavy sighs, and just now the complete attitude with Mr. Allessi.
Good point. I think BH parked elsewhere so that KR/JO would not know he was inside.Yes, it's odd about the jeep. I know this has been discussed a lot but I believe Higgins' jeep was there, but not where JMc claims. Higgins turned up later at the CPD in his jeep. Higgins testified in trial X 1 to leaving 34 F at around 1am or something close to that. There was no CPD footage in trial X 1 so if Higgins was being truthful then he didn't drive directly to the CPD (footage has him arriving at 1.30am).
Jmo Higgins was around at 34 F between 12.30 and 1am. Occasionally I wonder what J and M McCabe's motive was for saying he was parked near the mail box, unless they meant on the mail box side of the driveway? But I'm sure JMc insisted he was parked adjacent to the mail box IIRC, and as noted that conflicts with RN who I tend to believe.
Perhaps Higgins parked in the neighbour's driveway (no. 33 across the road opposite the northern end of lawn, flag pole and hydrant end, is the home of the police officer who provided the solo cups IIUC). Perhaps JMc and Higgins himself wanted to divert any defense investigator potentially questioning the police officer neighbour re the jeep.? Just a random idea. That happens to be the neighbour who had no footage for the evening. Moo
