Sorry for the double post, but hoping to get a serious answer this time….does the defense acknowledge that the SUV backed up 60-80 feet at 20+ mph in front of 42FV or is that in dispute?

I’m not clear on that - I don’t recall that they said oh yes that’s right tho at any time.

Resorting to personal attacks is a Giant Red Blinking Flag that a mind is closed and they’ve run out of intellectual reasons to judge evidence on face value.
In the day of internet and social media people seem to have resorted to middle school critical thinking skills- and drama.
A man died way too young
A family is grieving
A woman is up on charges that could put her in prison for a very long time
And the people’s trust in public servants and the justice system is low

What will justice look like??
KR Not Guilty
civil suits
CPD investigation

IMO
The sad and obvious thing here is that even if Karen Read is found NG, she will still suffer for many years. People won't let her forget this. There will be many who will not believe she didn't kill JOK. And if she is found NG due to reasonable doubt, what if she did do something that caused his death? How does a person live with that when everything dies down...
And yes, then the civil suits by the family, and possibly even KR will sue the police.
Then if it's another mistrial, there will be a lot of anxiety for her. Will the CW want to take it to trial again. How long does a person have to wait to find this out. And could she handle another trial?
And if it's a guilty verdict, off she will go to prison but it can't be justice being served since it wasn't proven BARD. And appeals. And more documentaries and books written.
LE really let down so many people in this investigation and two wrongs don't make a right with the CW trying to overcompensate for a poor investigation. IMO.

I mean how can they talk about dog bites without mentioning there was a dog at the scene, somewhere? They have the bites, now prove there was a dog, any dog. You're a juror so wouldn't you expect to be told about the dog the defense is claiming to have caused these injuries.
IMO the dog has been introduced. If Yuri testified they tracked her down - and we found out renamed Cora etc / that was this trial. JMO

Right, absolutely NOT her crowd at all. KR was though as we saw and heard, KK's kind. The basketball moms are very different than the McCabe type of basketball 'mom'. IMO
Karen and Karina were of the same class of women. Professional. Beautiful. Educated. The only reason Karina stayed longer was because Karen walked in. They spent the rest of the night talking while JenMc flirted and cozied up with John.

They invested $50k vs the CWs pilfering nearly $400k off of taxpayers for the ridiculous paint experiment.
The difference of quality work from Arcca as opposed to Aperture was like night and day. It's embarrassing how juvenile and ineffective Aperture's work was for that amount of money especially. There's no justification for it.

It's fascinating to me that Brennan was fixated on the fact that Rescue Randy was suspended from a harness and his feet were not flat on the ground like an actual person would have been and the harness would have interfered with how a real body would react and therefore the test was somehow flawed, BUT....when Rescue Randy spun around like a top and his ankle was twisted, and no part of him touched the side of the car, it was (paraphrasing) AHA! SEE??? This PROVES that JOK could have no additional injuries and by the way did you see that JOK's shoe was wedged up against a curb which could have happened like Randy's twisted ankle??? So, which is it HankyBoy? Was the test flawed because Randy was suspended or was it a valid test that proves something? Can't be both.

IMO

Question:
Can someone interpret what Jen McCabe is talking about here?

Testimony on Day 8- her answer about a phone call the more of Jan 29 at 5;07 to the Albert home, her answer is convoluted??

The clip is at 19.00 min CourtTV Day 8 JMc

View attachment 592809
She denied making phone calls when first asked, then AFTER shown the evidence from the phone, had to admit she did. Were they the calls that were deleted I wonder....Matt the IT guy??

The Edge was there at 3:30am and gone by 6am. Who moved it there abt 3:30?? Who moved it before 6am??

The only testimony we have about an additional arrival after the party ended relates to Tristan Morris who testified he arrived sometime after 2 am to pick up his "high maintenance" girlfriend Caitlin Albert.

For some reason, Caitlin, who had planned to spend the night at her parents', called Morris who was already home in bed some 10 miles away when she called.

We never got any explanation for why Caitlin felt compelled to leave her parents' home in the middle of that night. Some speculate it was to get Caitlin - and Chloe? - out of the picture. It's also worth noting that her parents lied to the first investigators and told them Caitlin left the party around midnight.

Why the lies? Why the sudden, clearly unplanned departure of Caitlin on this particular night at that particular time?

It is a large driveway. And it's illegal to leave a car on the street in the winter after 1 am.

When we consider the party was over before Lucky made his first pass, it makes no sense for any vehicle associated with 34 Fairview to have been out there at that time.
I wonder what kind of vehicle Tristan Morris was driving when he came back to pick up his girlfriend in the middle of the night, the Albert daughter?

Caitlin Albert's boyfriend Tristin Morris drives a light colored Ford Edge, was at 34 Fairview Road the night John O'Keefe was murdered, was out drinking with them before disappearing, and is no longer on the Canton Police waiting list, which surprises me, but obv thought better of it or he himself was nixed off. He was to be plowing that night or morning for storm so he did go home I would think. IMO

I'm responding to my own rely. Do I have it wrong as to who Dever saw at the sally port?? was it MP and YB or was Berkowitz there with MP or YB or a combination of the three?
Dever said she saw Berkowitz who was the Chief of Police of Canton, and Brian Higgins, who was such a great friend that Berkowitz allowed him to have an office at the CPD even though Higgins was a federal agent with alcohol, drugs and tobacco. We know that Higgins was at the Canton Police very early on Saturday morning at 01:30 and again all day on Saturday, in and out, in and out, after 07:00 when he went to Brian Alberts after John was found. Higgins testified that he didn't recall seeing Berkowitz that day and if he did, it was just in passing IIRC. Higgins also said he said hi to the dispatcher IIRC also. (I haven't went back to watch his testimony). We know that Higgins testified he always entered the police station through the sallyport. believe Devers saw the two of them in the sallyport talking for a wildly long time that day. I believe her original testimony to the FBI rather than her make believe story to the jury as her, and her police department's, attempts to save face.

No justification ? If you are the CW and you want a guilty verdict?
It's called a payoff - you conclude what we want and you get the cash.
HB probably in his trench with collar up, maybe met Jud in an alley with a bonus - small bills untraceable, in a Stop and Shop bag.
Or Tully had it with him in his "airport shuttle" and gave it to Jud as a little incentive

Just half joking ;)

My speculation only…

Dever was present, her shift had ended so she was off the clock but she had stayed
She is a rookie cop and a possible murder had taken place- she was showing initiative.
When the story came out she remembered what she had seen and it was incriminating.
She came forward- to the FBI and told them what she saw.
She got cold feet, felt pressured, whatever… and remembered she had technically clocked out- she was not on duty.

So- she technically wasn’t there. By claiming what her time card showed- she could not have seen what she saw.
So, she wiggled out of it- went to the FBI and told them she was mistaken.

Completely my speculation, but it works
IMO
Yes, this works. It must be something like this. Well explained.

Just kidding....sort of ;)
