MO...it is so painful to listen to what testimony from the ARCA medical specialist will be allowed to opinion.....why doesn't Canone just invite Brennan to sit up at the bench!

Is today Hank Brennen Day? JBC seems to be bending over backwards to grant his wishes.

Mooooo
It's been like that for this whole trial.

They want to introduce photos through the investigator, pictures of the house.. the garage and doors and distances... showing that the steps that JOK took and the distances, is there a hard surface in the garage, is there ridged surfaces in the house and if LE had looked, maybe we would know what happened (coming from Yanetti)

Brennan... noooooooooooooo... I don't want them to do that! (paraphrasing lol)

JOK was in cardiac arrest? That means he was having a heart attack?
I did not think that was the case- I thought no response

EMT Nuttall says- cold to touch
No breathing, no pulse, fingers white and stiff- signs of hypothermia
No signs of life

But- body temp was measured as 80F. Who measured and at what time?

KR mentions taking a piece of glass from JOKs nose and him bleeding- that implies liquid blood. Liquid blood moving on the nose and signs of frostbite do not square with each other. IMO

A person’s body temp would not be 80F if the had been in subfreezing temperatures for over five hours. Dropping below 80F would happen within one or two hours.

Autopsy does not mention frostbite-which would be permanent damage due to loss of blood and death of tissue due to cold exposure- Did that happen or no?

How long was he outside?
If he was not outside for the full time between 12:30-6AM- where was he?

And my question- if he suffered traumatic brain injury resulting in seizures- could those muscle contractions and brain electrical impulses have kept him warmer?? How much/ how long?

Still so many questions, which of courses supports Reasonable Doubt but does not get any closer to explaining what actually happened here
IMO
NO, he was not suffering from a heart attack for no reason. His heart and breathing stopped from hypothermia.

Patients with severe accidental hypothermia, i.e., with a core temperature (Tc) of ≤28 °C, are prone to suffering cardiac arrest

Brennan .. the measurements from the road to the door isn't the flagpole...

Yanetti ... quotes Whiffins testimony about the phone going in westerly direction ... says they have never said he walked from the flagpole, he walked into the house from a different area and was "placed" at the flagpole later.

Jackson said he has about 20 minutes left with Dr. Wolfe...

they will do voir dire of Laposata during morning recess (to see if she can testify about dog bites I believe? )

I believe he will be allowed to testify about the distances, but the photos will not be shown.

My thoughts... The jury has been to the scene anyway, so hopefully they have will have a good memory about that.

Sounds like the judge is starting off the week sighing loudly, wanting a “short” voir dire of a witness, and trying to push the defense’s case through
And wth, trying to limit Rentschler?? How? His testimony will hammer down one of the last nails in the coffin of the CW's case. Imo Brennan will try everything even at the last minute to stop the defense moving forward as they have a right to do. This is beyond nerve wracking for me as Moo looking at her past record cannone could rule any old way. Her unpredictability is terrible. Jmo

Cannone and Brennan both need to find a sinkhole and fall into it asap. SO SICK OF THEM!!

The CW has spent a lot of time trying to stop ARCCA from testifying.

I understand why, but any defendant has a right to a fair trial and to be able to introduce expert opinions, I hope the judge rules appropriately. It's ultimately up to the jury to decided what they believe.

Hopefully we will hear what the motion is about later or someone gets a copy of it and posts it on X, because that seems to be the only place to get them lol

Good Morning!

I just love how the defense was able to put on the record during these motion hearings, that the judge ALLOWED Welcher to opine on wounds, he who had zero medical background, and yet now the CW wants a Dr, who has performed autopsies NOT to be able to opine on wounds? Because, as judge said..." she only did 5 Autopsies? " Goodness.
But...it's on the record..

I think the 5 autopsies or the reference to 5 was dog bites? it was hard to piece together when we don't have all the information/report.

Dr. Wolfe is back on the stand in front of the jury

That is what I heard, as well

It's been like that for this whole trial.
Maybe it's because most of the defense's arguments are not correct and have no basis in law? To insinuate that the judge is bias because she's not, under the law, giving the defense free rein to bring in things that are not relevant is bias, AJMO.

The photo of Rescue Randy with the road-rash = is looks like there are no injuries to his arms underneath the holes in the sweater.

Showing a picture of Rescue Randy to Dr. Wolfe that Brennan showed Wolfe last week...

that is his left arm.

Tears, staining, Dr. Wolfe says it is from the road. Showed his face and the marks.

Showing another photo... right arm on Rescue Randy

can see glass in upper left. Reminding the jurors that the back window was completely smashed.

It doesn't take a blind man to see that Karen was fully in love with John. Hearing and seeing her incessant texts to him earlier that day , showed that when they did meet up that night. Their love was captured in the videos shown at both bars. Saying she knew or suspected she hit him is way off base here. KK testified that KR appeared fine at the Waterfall. She is a pharmacist who also was not drinking that night , so she would know. Mr. Nagel testified that KR was driving carefully, and that no one in his truck saw JOK in or out of the vehicle. He also said KR had her hands on the steering wheel at 10 and 2. She wasn't talking to anyone, she was waiting. Their is no doubt in my opinion that JOK went into that house where he met an accidental death stemming from a fight , dog attack and then was covered up. It explains all the unusual behavior and lying by the Alberts, Mccabes, BH,MP, Yuri, and the many other witnesses for the CW. Moo
This is the ONLY logical explanation of what happened to John. The only one, imo.
