Judge is striking anything mentioned about "inside the home"
There isn’t anything like a granular, ridged object where JOK was found so hopefully the jury can infer that it happened inside the home.

‘The prosecution case is being methodically decimated by expert medical testimony from Drs. Scordi-Bello, Laposata and Russell, supported by the opinions of Drs. Wolfe and Rentschler. The prosecution has nothing to challenge them. How is the prosecution eliminating reasonable doubt? Dr. Wolf (the neurologist) doesn't come close to doing that, if anything, he slightly helps the defense. The Aperture witnesses? 30 second snippets of Karen? This is not nearly enough. It is not a close call.’

ETA: she says as the swelling continued to grow, the heart and breathing would be disrupted. She said he could have died within 15-20 minutes after the blow to the back of the head.
RSBM

That contradicts Dr Wolf's testimony that raccoon eyes takes a minimum of 1 to 3 hours to develop.

starts around 2.46.09

I never know which other post will be shown when I post Sue's jury observations... but if you click on it, you can see all her other posts in a thread. She is probably the least bias reporter I could find in there lol She gets grief from all sides, which usually means she is doing a good job at reporting ;) IMO

Fascinating testimony by Dr Lapisada. She's clearly extremely knowledgeable and has examined JOK's autopsy report and related files in great detail.

I, for one, appreciate you posting them.

I am confident the jurors are seeing right through The Honorable Judge Cannone.

She says you have to look at the whole picture, all the wounds together, to piece it together and to 'see' what happened. (paraphrased)

THOSE words should be repeated in the defense's closing arguments.

I like Sue a lot, and does appear unbiased.
Having some insight into the jury reactions (or non-reactions) is a good thing.
I'm concerned about the juror who hasn't taken any notes :/
IMO.

It's not within scope. The expert witness cannot speculate about where the victim fell.

If we are keeping score on these things, it's an example of AJ asking improper questions to influence the jury knowing full well they will be struck.
If a search warrant had been executed at 34F we'd likely know exactly where the victim fell...

Maybe. Don’t forget Nicole Albert likes to clean with bleach.

the wounds on his arm, inflicted before death.

Consistent with an animal bite or claws? Dr. Laposata: yes, very much so.

Is it wrong that I hope the families and friends o the jurors are just blurting out to them at home about how corrupt this judge is?
Nope

  • #97
Why would she do that? I don’t get it.
IMO Canone is not interested in getting to the truth but in fact will make extraordinary efforts to suppress it. The jury will need to go fishing with a half empty tackle box!

Thus far, theres been no mention of JJO’s body temperature had dropped to 80.1. moo

yes she did.

Drop in temperature can happen for 2 reasons... temperature (hypothermia) and death.
