Poor Laposata is just speaking her truth...IMO the flurry of the CW to keep her from testifying her opinion has to cause the jury to suspect something is amiss.

This court, et al, puts the CON in 'Context'. imo.

I need them to take a break haha I have to do adulting today LOL

Thanks in advance for all that will continue to post while I'm gone and for trial updates (looking at you @kuromiiiilove :P )

I like Sue a lot, and does appear unbiased.
Having some insight into the jury reactions (or non-reactions) is a good thing.
I'm concerned about the juror who hasn't taken any notes :/
IMO.
Maybe she or he is an auditory learner?

Side bah as soon as animal canines are mentioned. I think the jury must get the picture by now, especially when coupled with Brennan's blatant misleading of them yesterday over the holes in the back of the hoodie, which the jury were later informed were really made by the CW's own witness during lab work Jmo

That’s my worry. Isn’t he in seat 1?
I believe so. Imo, if you're going to pull some shady crap, at least do a better job. Don't put them in seat one, do pretend to take notes, blend in, method act, and on and on. Good grief!

the wounds on his arm, inflicted before death.

Consistent with an animal bite or claws? Dr. Laposata: yes, very much so.
And we have a BINGO!

The Honorable Judge Cannone, graduate of New England Law Boston ranked No. 166 (tie) out of 195 in Best Law Schools, is actually helping the defense at this point.

The jurors know what is going on.

She's hardly bothered to hide her disdain and with Brennan doing what he does it's hard to believe they don't see the bias and the hamstringing. Moo they are going to be asking themselves why. Jmo

She says he would have been immediately unconscious, but not immediately dead. He could have been propped up temporarily, IMO

ETA: she says as the swelling continued to grow, the heart and breathing would be disrupted. She said he could have died within 15-20 minutes after the blow to the back of the head.
I think the people in the house thought he was just knocked out ? But all that blood ? I guess even small wounds bleed profusely. They propped him up and when they came back to check on him he was dead and panic mode set in?

don’t know what happened. AJ had what looked like an x-ray. Hank called a side bar. Bev came back and immediately said she was not going to address a motion right now.

I am confident the jurors are seeing right through The Honorable Judge Cannone.

In a worst case scenario (a conviction on any count) the defense has an overwhelming wealth of appeal issues due to JBC's rulings.

Mooo

Looks like all of Judge Cannone's planning yesterday to have Dr LaPosata finished up by the morning break did not pan out.

CW is so desperate. Closing arguments are going to be brutal for them. Jury misconduct makes me nervous

Every time there is mention of the vomit down his front I think, 'yup, that's from when John was propped up somewhere in the house'.

Bev is extremely worried about the jury...yesterday said they are "fed up". I imagine that they are given they must feel with all the sidebars and delays and obvious moves by the judge that they are NOT getting the whole story...only getting it in questions by AJ that are followed by quick answer while HB objects and yet another whispering sidebar. Now Bev says no further curative on the debacle yesterday until final instructions. That will be days after the events yesterday and will be meaningless. AJ must be steaming.

Dr. LaPosata is an excellent witness and is explaining things very well. I like how she answers quickly so HB can't get objection in before answer. He will have a tough cross with her.

That is unbelievable as usual. Yet it is happening. She is unconscionable. Moo
