I don't see any of the undersigned on their 'love note' about JOK, ever having to 'break down' and confess. Laughable. Now they feel home free, mistakenly. Hence, they felt they could get right out immediately, ahead of it all, which is common to do when there is a problem with a political or someone like them, it's what they do. 'we need to get out ahead of this...' I think people will now feel comfortable in their local surroundings to be a bit freer in their thoughts towards them. People work that way, have to have wheels turning. Not that a thing can be done legally at this time of course, but perhaps the FBI etc may have different ideas we don't know about at allllllll. IMO

No statement from Brennan? 😁

judge just mumbled and ran out it looked like, of course. Focus was on the right people, the deserving. IMO
The Judge was very good about the OUI charge and sentence - very amenable to the standard first offense penalty so no rancor.
Headed to thw Cape for June teenth with a bucket of white claws

I think we've all neglected the best news out of this...Tricia doesn't have to go to a convent!

This thread is moving fast so I apologize if this is a repeat:

A statement has been released reacting to Wednesday's verdict from several witnesses, including Jennifer McCabe, Matthew McCabe, Chris Albert, Julie Albert, Colin Albert, Nicole Albert, Brian Albert, Kerry Robert, and Curt Roberts. It states the following:

"Today, our hearts are with John and the entire O’Keefe family. They have suffered through so much and deserved better from our justice system. While we may have more to say in the future, today we mourn with John’s family and lament the cruel reality that this prosecution was infected by lies and conspiracy theories spread by Karen Read, her defense team, and some in the media. The result is a devastating miscarriage of justice."
That did come out super fast, that 'getting out ahead of it'. I think other agencies are going to 'have more' to say in the future, dear letter writer. IMO

I don't think she will have the whole team together at the civil court; but, yes, she will have to go to court again. Unless, and I hope this happens, the O'Keefe's drop their suit.
I doubt they will be wise enough to drop it unfortunately. They’re blind to reality it seems.

i don't expect one from him. he did a job. i think about 1/2 day thru he knew he did not have a case. His suggestion of sentence said it all.

They should be scared because now people are going to put two and two together, if he wasn't hit by a car, maybe the home owner who didn't come out to give first aid or attend the funeral knows more than they let on, imo

Great day for justice, and one step closer to getting for justice for JoK

I’m so happy for this verdict!!!!!

I had to leave for a doctors appointment just as they said the verdict was in.
Mr BUF texted me with the verdict!

Going to catch up now!

Why would she be under police surveillance. She was found not guilty. She can't be tried for the same crime again.
I'm not saying she should be, rather that she will be.

Her insurance company will provide a defense. And cover any settlement, especially now that there is no conviction for international murder or manslaughter. I'm sure the the Brians and McCabes are hoping O'Keefe doesn't push it. More testimony from them!

I hope the O'Keefe family thinks long and hard before proceeding with the civil case. It will prove nothing...even if they win what do they really win? They are taking valuable time from their lives. Mr. John Sr. looks like he is ready to fall over...does not look well and Peggy needs to release some of her hate. It is enough all ready. Out of all the people that night that drove and drank that night KR is the only one held accountable for it. That should be enough. Paul too needs to move on with his life. John has children that deserve to live lives without a court case hanging over.

Pretty safe to say he has def been in contact with all of them, all of them, again. Big meet. Can't have an iota of interest turned their way, especially his. Hopefully it is anyway. IMO
