In the process of being unjustly accused and tried twice for a crime she did not committ - Karen has more than bankrupted herself, her house is gone , her 401k is gone, her car is gone and on and on. I think her family also is in a similar situation altho I do not know the details. Into middle age, Karen is living at her parents house bc of this fiasco.

Everything she worked for in her adult life has been stripped from her bc she needed to defend herself from baseless charges. Its an outrage to me. I cannot imagine. I am thankful she had
the support of her parents.

There will always be those ( inc prob the OK's)who call her a cop killer and criticize her every move.

Karen knows who she is and thats what's important.
I don't think she is worried about what would be "a good look" - she is ready to get back to having a life. And if that means making money from telling her story and sharing the
Injustice of the Legal System and the Corruptipn of LE - I am definitley here for it.
Shining a light in to the dark corners is never a bad thing in my book.

It's her story .... who better to tell it ?

I doubt it seems fast to Read. It's been 3 1/2 years since the ordeal started and everything she'd worked for in life is now gone. Best to strike while the iron is still hot.

Yep!! Her name is MUDD now, IMO. The 'world' saw her in action. How she can recover from this and still maintain respect is a huge question. I seriously doubt she will be returning to the bench for any length of time. In other news.....I wonder who will portray her in the 'Movie'......

It appears to me that the quotes were taken from somewhere else, perhaps another interview/documentary/article not related to a movie It's not like the both of them and the LBI Entertainment held a formal press conference to announce this or even a book deal. I think those may come later when the PR engines are started and the project get closer to completion or release. As far as I know these hasn't been any kind of official statement or interview with either Read or Jackson other than the brief statement Karen had on the steps to the courthouse.

As far as Yannetti and Alessi.... I believe they are making the rounds with some of the LawTubers out there that supported and brought attention to their cause as a kind of 'Thank You' for their channels. In my opinion they have not appeared on Turtle Boy's channel because he is still in the middle of his court case with the CW and we know that anything he says can and will be used against him in court. Yannetti himself made a statement about Aiden and the respect and admiration he has for his journalism and his help in bringing attention to JOK's murder. There is of course some unfounded speculation going on that there is some kind of rift between Karen's Team and TB by the usual suspects who have their hatred of him, but even TB himself made a statement and flat out denied any and all allegations about said rift.

Jackson may have been working in LA on these book and film deals but the fact is we just don't know. There was footage this week of Karen taking out the garbage of all things by someone who was obviously stalking her in Boston hoping to get what, an interview? ( throw this in the lawsuit how all those lying people have ruined her quality of life!!) Again, we just don't know who is doing what and where. Jackson has been away from his family who lives out on the West Coast for lord knows hos' long? I think it's perfectly natural to want to get away from all this spotlight and speculation that has consumed large amounts of his time. Throw in the time difference between coasts and it's probably difficult to time everything with everybody on each of their shows and schedules. Whatever it is, I'm sure EVERYTHING is better now in all of their lives that the pressure is off and Victory is in hand.

This has probably been asked. Is there any info on Karen being closer to her father? It could mean nothing but she always went to his direction first. I’m glad that she had their full support and love. They seem like great parents.

I would love to know how people here would feel IF the 2:27 search actually happened at 2:27am. IF Google really does prove that time instead of the data confusion testimony the CW relied on, would that change your mind on her innocence? If the mind gymnastics that the “expert” performed could be proven wrong with one simple request to Google; how would that change your perspective.

after listening to Michael Easter... I think the FBI does know. I think it is quite possible that it did happen at 2:27am and like you said... the experts changed programs (Cellebrite) and did some mental gymnastics to fit the CW theory.

I hope to hear more about what we don't know... I see that books and movies are in the works, but I hope they don't take too long before I forget all the details LOL I want to know everything now!!

I agree. I also believe it is a way for her to get more of the information out there that they investigated and found. I truly believe she wants justice for John. But, this is also possibly about proving her innocence to the naysayers. She has more information that Judge Cannone didn’t allow in the trial.

They're not "profiting off the death of JOK". They're recouping some of the massive loss of funds spent defending Karen from a false accusation.

I feel like the state of MA. should be on the hook for all of this, they put her whole life on the stand though it hurts to know the government can walk up on her like that. These fools .

Definitely agree 100% with the verdict. As I read this post I said to myself ok now KR and AJ's silence makes sense. I have some real mixed feelings about the media blitz of the attorneys. I assume it makes sense for AJ to recoup some money from his work this past 3 years.

I sincerely doubt AJ needs the money at this point in his career. This was a man on a mission, cost be damned. He believes in her. Her whole team does.

I'm not sure about that. Most of his career he was a deputy DA, until he ran for District Attorney, which likely cost a lot. After that he switched sides and went into private defense. It's very expensive to live in So. California. I doubt he is rolling in dough.
