I gotta say, it didn’t dawn on me until this trial that I have personal experience with losing someone to being hit by a car and it was at a high speed on a busy road, like 45-50 in an area that’s supposed to be 25 max.
When I was 10, my best friend was hit and killed by a car. No headlights were broken. She was hit with the front, but you see where I’m going with this. My best friend died instantly.
The evidence just does not support a car collision. The jury has spoken, it’s over.
I think anyone who still believes KR is guilty needs to rewatch the second trial, and practice radical honesty with themselves.
Being able to change your mind based on new information is an underrated quality. “The core of mental health is flexibility” - Dr. Ramani.
It’s not a fun process to unlearn our biases and reprocess information with objectivity, but I promise, it’s better for anyone and everyone’s peace of mind.
