Looks like ABC spoke to another juror on the phone...
sbm
Is ABC going to add a paragraph about the poor tortured Albert’s into every KR story? I just want to hear the juror - the Albert’s need to slime away somewhere and hope people forget about their lies.

OMG ! Whenever I see those ugly mugs, my whole body starts to shake out of pure disgust. There's just something about the lot of them that turns my stomach.

ETA: Looks like this was already posted, but I'm still cringing after seeing their mugs. I can't put my finger on what it is about each of them that makes me go "ewwwwwwwwwwww".
MOO
Brian's statement "I am not a Canton Police Officer I am a Boston Police Officer"!!! That says it all.

GMA showed bits of this today. It was just them going on and on about how horrible it was for THEM. They were harassed, intimidated, threatened...sir it was at your house and your nephew threw a dead police officer (your co-worker) out on your front lawn in the snow.
Mmc: We took what we thought was the high road, let the court do its job.

NA: Think long and hard before you're a witness in a case because no-one protects you. It's very sad...And our lives just changed forever.

BA: The criminal justice system has let us down at every turn. And yesterday was the final letdown. There's nobody left to stand up for us.

CA: What the've done is they've dehumanized us, to the sense where we're not real people, we're almost like caricatures, we're just pawns."

JMc: Re: The hos long search. She asked me to do it. Doesn't matter how much I say about it, people will not believe it...

You know when you meet someone and they just give you the heebie-jeebies? That is how I react to each of these caricatures (as CA stated LOL). They are not individual thinkers. They speak as a unit, incapable of independent thought. I find them a dysfunctional family system in plain view right there.

They're like a bunch of thugs, always used to having the power and now they have zero status and zero power. Thank goodness!

The next step is investigating the documented evidence of events such as how an alleged witness who was at the house that night broke their phone in half and disposed of it at a military base when he was told NOT to get rid of his phone because it was going to be requested for investigation.

Another so-called witness changed phones immediately when getting that same news. Both happen to be LE. To me, the blue wall of silence has never been so loud.

One of them had a documented romantic interest in KR, the other got rid of their family pet and their home that has been in the family for generations.

Yet another witness texted their group chat of other supposed witnesses, "If she [KR] takes a plea, she's fine. If she fights, it'll be an episode".

There is so. much. more. evidence against these 'witnesses' than there ever has been against KR.

I say witnesses in quotes because frankly, they sound a whole lot more like persons of interest to me. So I know this is controversial for some reason but maybe... just maybe... we can move on to speaking about the actual evidence here. Start speaking about the people at play in the murder of a cop, a guy who took on raising 2 kids who weren't his own, a guy beloved by many.

We got justice for Karen, thank the Lord. She is so strong and I am incredibly proud of her and the team.

We need justice for John O'Keefe. We must demand justice for John. These people cannot get away with such horrible, egregious, cruel conduct. Period. We, as a society, cannot let people forget about this murder, or write it off as, "Oh yeah, the crazy girlfriend who did it got off in court... sigh..." when that's clearly not what occurred at 34 Fairview during that blizzard. The evidence shows that. KR was found NOT GUILTY beyond a reasonable doubt for so many good reasons.

It is quite obvious John didn't get a skull fracture from hitting his head on the fresh snow.

There is much more to this case than Karen Read. I hope she gets to live her life peacefully now, and I pray the people responsible for this horrible, wicked thing are held accountable, and SOON.

ALL MOO but happy to provide any proof someone wants of things said in court, to a reasonable degree.

This case made me nervous with how many people wanted to jump on the guilty bandwagon without so much as considering science or medicine.

I really appreciated that Karen's words right after her verdict were, "Nobody has fought for justice for John O'Keefe as hard as I have." I find that to be 10000% true. Without Karen fighting this case and proving her innocence, we wouldn't have found out any of the stuff we know about the events at 34 FV.

Yes, I agree. It IS true. If you’re accused of murdering someone and you didn’t do it, defending yourself IS the first step in fighting for the victim. You can’t allow yourself to be convicted of a crime you didn’t commit and still maintain any possibility of getting to the real perp. It’s illogical to think otherwise.

I got the feeling HB was intimidated by Dr. Laposata. Even his greeting with her before he started questioning felt rather timid and awkward. He had a different demeanor during her questioning than with any other defense witness.

He’s worked with her before and I just feel like there’s some sort of history there that made him act differently with her. Maybe he secretly respects her. Maybe he knows that SHE knows his old tricks and won’t be frazzled by him. Not sure what the issue was there.
I saw how she was on to him, likely because she's worked with him before! I think because she knew his tricks, it intimidated him. She was not having any of his garbage!

just like what they have done for the last three years...have meetings or calls and put out the same story. Can you imagine if one of them broke ranks and decided to give a different story? I guess because JOK went to the "side door" and maybe had an altercation in the garage they are comfortable saying he was not IN THE HOUSE? Given part of the injuries sure looked to be dog bites and the dog disappeared even that night...I still don't understand why either side did not produce more evidence from the dog Chloe? There just seems to be noone that can offer a photo and location of that dog either current or from years ago when this happened.

I didn't watch them all testify in the 1st trial (the McAlberts).. curious if anything they said was different from their testimony?

Watched that clip of Gallagher from 1st trial... he makes a point of saying "I didn't see the tail light before that" (it being removed) Which makes me wonder... did ANYONE from CPD ever testify that they saw the tail light in the garage and that is what it looked like? I don't even recall YB being asked... is that the way the tail light looked when you saw it in the garage?
One that sticks out to me is JM who testified before 2 Grand Juries and never told them that KR said "I hit him" "I hit him".

imo

I'm concerned for Karen in the Civil Trial. And the fact that there is even a civil trial because the state wrongfully charged her is saddening. There is a guy on a social media platform (that they keep trying to ban) who literally shows how the marks on the back of John's head match up with the clasp on the back of his hat, and with the groves on weights in that basement. Maybe that evidence and be researched and used in the civil trial since BC is not in charge there?

You all probably know who she can sue better than I do, but she needs to sue all over the place. To have to sell your home, lose your job, cash in your 401k etc....just to try to keep from getting railroaded into prison is astounding. How would most regular people be able to survive that? We can't...that's what this whole thing is about for everyone outside of that courthouse.

Thank goodness she had a great team and jurors who listened despite BC blocking every objection.
I agree 100 percent .
Here a little sue there a little sue. Everywhere she can sue, she should.

KR: Jen McCabe - it's me or her. Either I'm going down or you are.

Karen Read did not go down!

BA and BH couldn't even get their "stories" straight.

BA said he took BH UPSTAIRS to his son's room to look at a plaque.....and BH said they went to the family room to look at photos, and he had never been upstairs. Which was it.

Maybe they were really in the basement, and just forgot?

Then destroyed phones and butt dials all around??

Really?
