Goode sure lied his butt off on the stand so finally some action against him.

Sean Goode is the latest domino to fall, who’s next?

  • #164
Not sure, but I know that was about the time of the call made by John O'keefe's niece to Jen McCabe, telling her that Karen had come home without John and was very upset that she couldn't get hold of him and didn't know where he was. I think it was actually almost 4:30 am though.

ETA It was also right about the time of the niece's call that Karen called her own mother.
Ok, thank you, they must have been referring to that!

This is in regard to Jackson’s letter. IMO this makes him sound even more suspicious.

Can someone give me the cliff note version of who Goode is and what he lied about on the stand?? TIA

Goode was one of the first Canton PD officers on scene. Rather than knock on the door of the strangely silent and dark Albert house, he and Lank - incredibly - told Jen McCabe to go into the house and notify the occupants. There's a dead man on the front lawn; they should have had no idea whether a killer was on the loose or in the house and should have had no way of knowing if everyone in the house had been killed as well. THEY should have gone to the door immediately but instead waited a fashion and then sent Jen in. IMO, this wasn't talked about enough. It cannot be protocol. But heaven forbid they bother the great (and easily annoyed?) Brian Albert. Let Jen do it.

Goode is also the officer who returned to his home to get the leaf blower. All said, he should be a fairly minor player here but he's another life-long Canton townie and during the first trial he had to admit friend relationships with Michael Proctor's sister and a couple of the Alberts.

This latest development could be very interesting if the texts - which sound like they had to involve what was on Proctor's phone - are connected to contact they had about the Read case. A suspension and internal investigation is a big deal so I doubt it was harmless chatter.

How was he not reprimanded for all of this when everything came out?

Reprimanded by whom? The now retired Helena Rafferty? I think Melanie Little said he was actually promoted to sergeant after the trial.

Whatever is in those "new" Proctor messages must be really bad.

*Just editing to add that it looks like Goode was promoted after O'Keefe's murder but before the first trial. According to the Opengovpay website there was a big salary jump in 2023.

According to public records, Sean Goode's salary increased by 202.62% ($137,786) from 2022 to 2023. ($205,788)

The fallout needs to continue for these corrupt agencies and individuals. Plus, where’s the justice for John O’keefe? Only those working to hold the conspirators accountable and expose the truth are working for justice for John. The cover up crowd could care less.

Cox's "statement":

“What I need is to not be asked this question ever again pertaining to anything to do with the police department. My condolences to the O’Keefe family for what they’ve gone through because we did lose a department member, but outside of that, this has nothing to do with us and I am not going to speak on this again.” BPD Commissioner Cox told Boston 25 News on Monday."

IMO astoundingly tone deaf - he should have just said NOTHING. and moved on or let Michelle Wu handle it - the letter from Alan was not addressed to Cox. Maybe Wu told him to shut the conversation down but his little statement is not going to do that.

He's an embarrassment to her administration but she is running unopposed so maybe he catches a break.

I dont think we have heard the last of this though

another article saying the same thing - this guy is ..less than eloquent imo

Get the popcorn ready. Corri Hopkins, the North Carolina lawyer known on Twitter/X as @marbury_vs_mad, has been suing the state for emails between Proctor, Tully etc in relation to Karen’s case and late last night received a pdf of 300 emails totalling 800 pages and she is currently releasing the contents.

And those emails are beautifully revealing ....

Here is one email that references the SERT report we were told did not exist 👺

The last one Corri posted last night was of Proctor sending something between his work and personal email addresses so that opens up another huge can of worms for him. The lawyers can now go after his personal emails.

Remember a couple of years back where some of us were saying that Read isn't the only case that was going to be affected by the questionable behavior of these officers? 17 out of 19 cases that Michael Proctor was involved with are now be looked into! This is only the tip of the iceberg I'm willing to bet.

Been so busy with work and life issues, haven't kept up with the case as much but today, for whatever reason, a whole bunch of posts about what was going popped up on my FB feed. So glad to see dominos starting to fall one by one and peoples corruption, beyond what we already knew about, be exposed. Looks like it's gonna be a few hours trip down the rabbit hole tonight

Apparently Corri has more coming out today!

Wow @waldojabba ….. so I’m trying to recall…… if that is the case, was it Tully not telling the truth? Or was it the judge, or both? SMH.

And for comparison, not telling the truth = lying, or misrepresenting to the court, on the record? Punishable by what? IANAL. MOO
