There is a website now that was set up to elicit tips....www.sandracrispo.com

One slightly new piece of info from it. She was planning to have a sleepover with her grandkids on Friday night.
Great find. To me, that doesn't give me the impression that she just upped and walked away.

From what I have read, it doesn't appear that she has done anything like this in the past.

Something is very wrong here.

Sorry to quote myself but this has been bothering me all day. That should read "healthy" not wealthy.
We'll take wealthy, too, Poms! A wealth of information is a good thing, my friend.

I agree, Steels. She's not voluntary missing, IMO.

It's too bad that families couldn't purchase their own luminol and go around the homes/cars/sheds. At this point, it might give a blasted answer as to whether or not the poor woman was attacked in or around her home. I feel for her family. I can't imagine how frightening it is to have a parent missing.

I wonder if they are doing any searches this weekend.

It sounds like they don't have a clue where to look. :( MOO

I like that idea. A family like hers would leave no stone unturned. That would be a great tool to have! **sigh**. I’m fearful that she may have been taken far from here. The possibilities are really just endless with no clues. In the Watts case, we had that amazing security footage from the neighbor. This area-I don't know too many people or neighbors with that set up. Maybe the “ring” and I know a lot of people that have alarms, but not the cameras. I live about an hour from her.

When she was picked up at the mechanic's by the unnamed family member, were the kids with her? If so, did the family member drop her off and then the kids, or vice versa? (Who was this person anyway - was it the kids' dad, or Sandra's son, or someone else...?)

She was last seen wearing a white shirt, pink pants, and slip-on shoes. Has any of that clothing been found in her house? Knowing that would help narrow down whether she actually made it home, and how long she was there.

There is a vacuum of facts regarding her being dropped off. This seems unusual and intentional.

People who are planning to leave their current lives don't always leave warning signs. Sometimes they will act as if it is "business as usual' , because they don't want anyone to try and stop them.
I'm not implying that Sandra left by choice; I do not know. But the fact that she said her grandkids could sleep over that week really doesn't indicate anything.

The only link I have seen to the ride from the family member and home is that she had her purse at the gas station and her purse was found in her home. IMO

At what point is it a criminal investigation-never?
When is the house sealed from outside access?
When do they process the house as a crime scene?

As far as I can tell, nothing has steered towards a criminal investigation. Sandra is an out of towner, doesn't know anyone in Hanson, and probably no one in town particularly cares much about this case of a "missing" person.

This case needs a break, some newly uncovered evidence. Because it can't end like this.

Do we have conflicting MSM reports? This one says her purse was missing.

Family fears foul play involved in disappearance of grandmother missing 40 days from Massachusetts home
Once inside, she noticed her mother’s shoes and purse were gone.
I retract my statement. I can’t find the conflicting article. This makes the most sense since they aren’t convinced there is foul play. While trying to find the conflicting article (maybe it was a poster and not an actual link), I noticed that in one link it says the family member dropped her off at 5 PM (last seen). The other thought is that all the lights were on as if she had been there in the evening. So, purse at Cumby’s, but not at home.

I agree!

There's no evidence of a crime at this point.
I do feel that she may have been dealing with depression. It's not uncommon in our 50's, and she had recently been moving, which can really be stressful. Especially for a woman on her own.

Well, we have no evidence of this, either. You could be right, but if we were to stop posting because LE isn't sure foul play was or wasn't involved and we assume she harmed herself or took off, that just leads to others backing off from trying to find her.

I can't rest until they are found- whether it was a medical issue, self harm, an accident, or foul play- I don't give up on finding the victim. Even if she was depressed and did self harm, she is a human being that deserves to be found and her family deserves to be able to grieve her properly. I've seen some cases on here where people have made the generalization that they either took or or self harmed, and some posters backed off from posting and went into other threads. While some were correct and that did happen in some of those cases, it was sad to see those threads die down. Other cases where the same was said (self harm or took off), turned out to be foul play, and suddenly, the threads sprung back onto the first page again.

For all we know, someone could have knocked on her door at night- maybe someone she knew, a new neighbor, etc, she opened it thinking the person was trustworthy, stepped outside to talk, and well, vanished.
