Yeah, got it. For some reason, I had Snapchatting back and forth in my head. Texts I get, and even use, on occasion. :)

I thought she said snapchat too!

I think he will be found within 5 miles from where he went missing!
I think hes right there just hasn't been found yet!

I believe the second picture is of Zach on his phone, probably telling Amanda that he can't get back in. She said that a few calls went back and forth. He may have been pacing around a bit just to keep warm.
It's not with Amanda.

"Marr was celebrating his birthday with his cousins Friday night. He went outside for a smoke. He was without his jacket and texted his cousin the bar was closing and he couldn’t get back inside. Amanda Marr, Zach’s cousin, said when she went outside within ten minutes he was gone. After two unanswered phone calls, all calls to Zach went straight to voicemail.
“I knew in my gut something wasn’t right,” said Amanda Marr."

I think both pics, 1:40 and 1:44 are from at the same store because of the writing in the white banner (backwards). It looks to be same.
Nope definitely not. They are both at Boston Public Market but on completely different ends of the building. I'm positive of this. You can tell by what in front of Zach in each picture. In the one where he is standing there is a big cement pillar---in the other a traffic light. If you look at the google maps street view you can ascertain exactly where he was standing.

So where does Snap thing fit into this? Confused!

At 1:30 a.m. Saturday, Zachary sent Marr a text that he was going out for a smoke, she said. About five minutes later, she said, he sent her a Snapchat saying that bar staff was not letting him back in.
During a brief text exchange, Zachary told her he was “out front.” At 1:50 a.m., Amanda Marr and the rest of the group made their way outside, but Zachary Marr was nowhere to be found, she said.
“I was trying to stay calm,” she said. “Maybe he went for a walk.”

So who was he with at 1:30 when he sends her a text hes going out for a smoke?
He obviously was not with his cousin. when did she LAST see him. and how convenient
it was the snap chat that said staff wouldn't let him back in. Because snapchat vanishes.
sooooooo.

Who SAW(laid eyes on) him last and when?

Well, he's on clear, time stamped video in front of the Boston Common market at 1:40 a.m. and 1:44 a.m.

I don't think any voice calls went back and forth. I think they were all text or snapchat.

For those not familiar with the area: Southie, where Amanda lives, is South Boston. It runs from Fort Point Channel to Dorchester. Bostonians walk a lot but Bell in Hand to Southie or vice versa is farther than most would walk. Two to three miles or more depending on exactly where she lives. She drove to pick him up at North Station so she probably drove to the tavern as well, but I haven't seen anything specific.

I'd like to know if cousin texted or called him several times trying to find out where he was once they went outside and he was nowhere to be seen.

Why was he spending his bday with his cousin and not any of his friends?

I wondered that also -made me think lonely.

Interesting post ty!

My cousins ARE my friends! His dear grandma had just died a month before, and it's a close family, so he went to Boston to be with his dear cousins who are about his age to celebrate. I can't think of a much more fun celebration of your 21st.

Didn't someone post on this thread a little while ago that the family has now hired a private investigator? I can't find that post now - I sure thought it was this thread.

re text that he was going out for a smoke,
I assumed they were all hangin toether. I got impression (big place) if he texted her that he may have been crusin around on his own , makes sense, but it would tranlate to Amanda statement "only three drinks" not necc accurate if he was running around by himself.

Looked at street google and there is def a lot of water close to bar. I have been using the search area as totally like to get idea of everything else. There is so many entry points to "water" I wonder they just selected that launch place either for ease of entering as oppossed to that "being " THE place.....

Also, the bridges I checked out around seem as if they would high enough for a successful suicide attempt.

You're thinking somebody else sent the snapchat message? Hm.

Or maybe he made up the "can't get in" excuse to separate from his friends for some reason?

I wondered why he texted her too, but it may be as simple as she was across the table and down a little and the bar was so loud you had to shout at the top of your voice to be heard. And I have kids with cousins who will text each other in the same room - there may be a general interest conversation going on, and one cousin will text something like hey do you want to go to Whataburger later. Not to be secretive, just not to interrupt.
