I posted early then had to leave and go in for test to find out if I had cancer.. As calous as this sounds this board has given me the distraction I have needed in a very difficult personal time. All the way to the doctor's this morning for test instead of thinking about me I was rambeling like a crazy woman to my husband about the latest developments with the McCann's.
I just found out I am cancer free and I get back and am 4 pages behind! See where my mind is?

CONGRATULATIONS!!!
I'm happy!

I think they are going after her first because she is perceived as the weaker of the two and they think they can break her. If I were her and was guilty of something and the LE dangled an offer to turn evidence against hubby and perhaps keep some kind of normal life versus standing by hubby and risking everything, I'd turn on him in a second.

Or they think and positively know Kate is the killer of Maddy and that Gerry is the accomplice, or vise a versa. Either way, they want one of them to break. I don't see it. There faces are just as hard, cold, bitter and looks like their blaming the public for all their problems now.

Nope, I just don't see either one telling the truth, they really think they'll get by with this. Look how long it's been so far and they haven't been arrested. Most of us know if it was one of us, we would long have been in jail, at the mere charge of parental endangerment and neglect. Being doctors, they've always been given preferential vip treatment.

People of this mindset don't think like the rest of us. I still haven't decided who I think killed Maddy. I'm starting to see the timeline swaying and changing. Maybe she wasn't killed in those mere couple of hours of the Mccanns leaving the room and the actual report of her missing.

The suitcase theory and her body being placed in it fits, fits fits, All the way to explaining it being on Kate's clothes. Gerry was seen carrying a suitcase along with beach toys for the babies.

For the blood to be in the rental car, the anonymous perp would of had to have rented it prior to the Mccanns, and that could be a possibility then turing into an accidental or coincidence of the Mccanns renting the car. Therefore, it could be some kind of divine intervention, who knows.

going back to the Mccanns being the killers, they had to have stashed Maddy somewhere, especially after all the immediate media coverage, then deciding they need to move her body, hence blood in the rental car three weeks after Maddies disappearance.

These parents aren't going to admit to nothing. They will have to be one hundred % prosecuted and found guilty, and they'll still deny it. I can see it in their eyes and body language. Not to mention all they've said and done, they don't plan on going down for this.

Motive: Why did they kill her? I honestly don't believe it was premeditated, or they would have done a much better job of it.

ACCIDENT?

LOST CONTROL/ANGER?

The decisive point (for further inquiries) was the arrival this week of test results from England – of the samples found in the room where Maddie disappeared. The police also focussed on the samples found in the vehicle used by the couple, specifially the odor of the daughters corpse. But the main line of police investigation focuses on the telephone taps and emails exchanged by the McCanns and their friends who returned to the UK.

So either (a)the friends were engaging with the McCanns in a cover up, or (b)they spilled their guts to PJ on May 4th and have been cooperating ever since. Remember, the apparent word has been that the PJ knew something was weird almost immediately. That would point to information the earliest witnesses must have provided. Dianne Webster, in particular, must have been a clear-headed and straightforward witness with no reason to shade the truth. BTW, I still think the Tapas parents have been given a bum rap- the Paynes had the monitor, the Oldfields had a sitter, and the Tanner/O'Briens were only away from their apartment at the same time for about 15 minutes or less.

Hard to say, I think anger of her not going along with their plans. That or possibly an OD of something they gave her to make her sleep.

I read somewhere yesterday...Foxnews, I think...that the police know she is dead because of phone calls and emails sent by the McCanns to friends. I haven't heard much about that today.

Can you believe I've missed all this....hard to keep up now.

if it was "blood" in the car for 25 days, she must have been preserved somehow, no?

I still believe the drugging theory - they drugged her to keep her from crying and she died.

(rough translation from http://www.correiomanha.pt/not.....81&p=0)

"It roughly says that Kate has explained to the PJ that the cadaver odour is to do with her profession as a GP, having encountered a few cases of death (at least six she says) in her job prior to going on holiday to PDL. When asked about the scent of death on Cuddle Cat she says that's due to the same reason, as she takes the toy to work with her."

When I think of a cadaver odor, I think of formaldehyde.

You must have worked at a mortuary!

Cadaver dogs don't look for the scent of formaldehyde. They look for the smell of human bodies decaying.

Ramsey-ism, that's what it is. At least Gerry and Kate didn't stage her body as if she'd been molested and poised by a sadistic, long winded, would be kidnapper.

How many days after Madeleine went missing that her parents went to the beach with the suitcase and the twins?

I am having trouble keeping things straight in my head for some reason today:rolleyes: I am thinking my brain is going into information overload today :p

Nope, but worked in an autopsy department at a large Dallas Hospital.

Just saying what came to my mind. I would think that there would always be the smell of death in the area where the child died..... formaldehyde might have come later. Just a thought, that's all.

I can't go with the drugging theory because blood was found on the wall in the apartment. That sounds like a rage killing to me and that Maddie was hit with an object that would make her bleed.

Blood found was in the rental car that they rented 25 days AFTER Maddie's disappearance. This indicates that her deceased body was moved from its original dumping place to another. I have theorized that they moved her in a suitcase as that would be the least suspicious thing to see at a resort. But after 25 days the remains would be more than putrified and very liquid so seepage into the trunk of the rental car is more than likely.

Here is something to consider re: the rental car. If it was rented just prior to May 3rd, in PDL (small village car rental place), perhaps it was rented by one of the Tapas 7 and Gerry borrowed it???

Pure speculation...

That's why we need the Maddy forum, any mods hear me? We do need a chronological facts with no posting thread. That would help so much. Giving us the name of the players, abbreviation explanations, I still don't know what PJ means, lol.

Windchime did some housecleaning before opening this thread, that always helps.

I nominate Colomom for the Chronological thread. I hope she's glued to her computer seat and can't reach my state.

Question here, at one point, upon one's death, assuming they were not embalmed, would a dead person's blood be in a state where it had completely coagulated or whatever blood would do if a person wasn't embalmed???? Obviously it can't continue to flow, so what happens to it..... So what would happen to it?

DO WE HAVE A DOCTOR IN THE HOUSE?

~snip~

I always thought that Maddie was manhandled (maybe bled) and died of a heart attack and during the frantic attempt at resuscitation she was slapped, hence the blood splatters...

....just a theory...

Could it be possible that the child was disposed of early on and something the child was wrapped in/put in was put in the trunk of the new rental car weeks later that still had Maddie's scent and blood on it thus leaving residue in the new rental car. Maybe her body was never actually in the rental car, just things used to dispose of the child.

VERY possible...wondered the same myself. Also is the "blood" found in the car flakes of blood (dried) or was it liquid when deposited?
