Madeleine McCann 3 year old missing in Portugal - Part 13

Sorry if this has been asked before, but after looking at the timeline, I have a question...

If Matthew Oldfield supposedly checked on Maddie and the twins at 9:30 pm, and Kate found her missing at 10pm, was she in the room when M.O. checked on her?

I think he just listened at the door. And even if he did actually walk in the room and look all he would have seen were children in the bed. Madeleine (if she is dead) could easily have already been dead and layed out to appear she was just sleeping.

How can they believe this if they haven't found Madeleine yet?

How do they even know if Madeleine is dead?

Could it be possible that they have found Madeleine's body but have not released that information yet?

Ok thats weird. As a nurse I can tell you that MD's don't take stuffed animals to work with them.

Wasn't it reported that the cat was a birthday gift for Madeleine in the first place? Why would she be carrying around her daughter's birthday gift on rounds and putting it close enough to dead bodies to capture the scent of death... that is odd...

The way I see it, and I have believed from the beginning, there can be only two reasons why the McCanns would cover up for this.

1) Child abuse- one of the parents hit (pushed, shook, drowned, etc.) Madeleine, and an autopsy would prove it was abuse and the parents were responsible.

2) She died accidentally, but a sedative was given to her beforehand. Either from an overdose, allergic reaction, choking or falling/drowning, it really doesn't matter. The parents knew that any investigation would turn up a sedative in her system and they'd lose their medical licenses.

What do they have to hide, that they need Legal representation, if they are innocent as they claim, then they should have no worries, sounds to me like they have something to hide.

While I think the McCanns are guilty as sin, this general sentiment is one to which I must object, strenuously.

Any intelligent person, when interviewed by police in connection with a crime, ought to have a lawyer present. It doesn't in any way indicate guilt or innocence. Even innocent people have lawyers.

Mike Nifong said much the same thing about the Duke lacrosse players -- something along the lines of "Well, why did they go get lawyers if they weren't guilty." My husband (a defense attorney) about fell out of his chair. Before that I don't think I'd ever heard someone who WORKS in law enforcement say something like that.

Kate McCann was interviewed for 11 hours on thursday at the police station. She was back there today and she is a formal suspect. That is what was on the news today.

Either one of these seem more believable to me than the abduction theroy. Hopefully we will know soon. Some much info out there right now I feel like my head may pop off!

to me it wont matter if it was mom or dad that did it. if your spouse kills your child and you cover for them you are just as evil as they are. how can the bond with the person you sleep with be stronger than the bond with the person you gave life to.

It isn't. It can't be.

There are things my husband could do that would kill my love for him, dead as dirt. There is nothing my children could do that would do that. They're my children.

Which is, of course, why I can never understand people like the Ramseys and McCanns. I try, I really truly try, not to judge them by saying "if I were in their shoes" -- because I'm not. But sometimes I can't help it. Whoever said that thing earlier in this thread about needing to be picked up with a shovel was dead on. No way would I be jogging and blogging. Something is very wrong with these two.

I think the arguido/arguida status also confers something U.S. citizens who are suspects do not have until formally arraigned on charges, the right to see all evidence against them.

So it's the Portugese equivalent of Boulder evidence law then?

So from the latest News, the timeline.....8.20pm the McCanns go to dinner, Dr. M.O. checks at 9.05pm (his photo is blanked out on News) at 9.30pm G. McCann checks, then 10.pm Kate who discovers Maddie is missing!!!
Kate McCann is now a formal suspect, strange her Mother is still in England? lots of very strange quirks to all of this

I am having trouble seeing any bruises but, I think Kate looks like she has been medicated and Gerry has a smirk on his face.

There are posting on the Mirror board (see media links) that it is being reported by the BBC that Madeleine died of a broken neck. How would they know this unless they either have a body or somebody spilled their guts?



Also reports of cadaver scent on Kate's bible....ugh.

Photo 52 looks likes bruises on left arm, around elbow and a thumbprint type of bruise around bicep area.

So you are saying that the person or persons who had rented that car and they are the ones who killed Madeleine and then Kate and Gerry just happened to rent that same car????

Is that what you are saying?

And then rubbed a cadaver on Kate's clothes apparently. Talk about material for a thesis....
