Madeleine McCann 3 year old missing in Portugal - Part 13

It might just be a bruise from someone preventing her from running (I say running, because they go jogging) into traffic, not that I mean to imply she's doing it intentionally to get hit!

For example last weekend my husband and I rode up into town and put our bikes at one shop and walked to the rest. I have a grab mark on my upper arm because I didn't see the car coming down the road, he grabbed to keep me from stepping out.

I bruise incredibly easy, it's disgusting. It's better now that I switched to baby aspirin instead of Plavix.

I haven't seen anywhere that it says she might be on blood thinner treatment! Just can't remember if I posted this observation before sorry, thought I'd mention it since bruising is a topic again.

It may very well be she bruises easily, or had a total stranger grab her arm to scream at her, or her husband stopped her while jogging to prevent an accident. It could be something more of course, but thought I'd throw this into the mix.

It's very sad to see the whirlwind of info coming now. Maddie and her twin siblings, all three lives destroyed in one way or another. Just hope the twins get a safe place to grow up. I'd be interested to see how they are in about 15 years.

I've always thought it wasn't them but I have to say I don't like how now when I see them they look 'truly' outraged and emotional.

I'm still not sure what to think. I know this though, Portugal does NOT want to be another Aruba and they're pretty motivated to solve this, I just hope it's done honestly.

Agreeing to be questioned without an attorney present in something as serious as a missing child/possible homicide case makes as much sense to me, guilty or innocent, as agreeing to be a guest on the "Jerry Springer" show.

Sorry I haven't been following all the details in this case, just the initial reports I do have a question though for those in the know.

I saw a timeline in one of the posts saying that a Dr. MO checked Maddie at 9:05 then GM at 9:30 and 10:00 is when kate checked and Maddie was gone. Is that correct? Who is Dr. MO? Just wondering if the Dr. MO was sure Maddie was alive when he saw her. Possibly he thought she was asleep but was actually dead at that time? Could've been a way for the parents to set up a tight time line that would've seemed to exclude them from being involved. GM checks and then KM does and sounds the alarm after they have one person verify she is in bed sleeping and they are with witnesses that can provide the alibi they need.

I noticed though that it looks like a grab bruise, but it looks like it's been done from the front. Like someone was standing in front of her and grabbed her to look in her eyes without her being able to walk away. It goes (seen from left to right) upwards.

So they must have gotten the body out somehow in the middle of that first night, while everyone was chasing after Robert Murat.

Spouses can testify against one another in the US, they just can't be compelled to do so.

OK, must jump in here...

I am convinced that her body was removed right away. Remember, they brought in sniffer dogs right away and she was tracked to another apartment in the complex and then down to the supermarket where her scent was lost. If she had been in the apartment they would have alerted to her. I have the utmost faith in those dogs.

Also, it was cool when the McCanns arrived in PDL, it was May. However, the body would have been smelling bad within a couple of days.

Also, the McCanns moved out the next day!! They moved into another apartment in the Ocean Club complex and the PJ took control of the apartment.

I would bet buckets that the McCanns (probably Gerry) moved her that night. Maybe temporarily but my gut says no, he jogged all over that area, he took her to a well or to the church (to the vault) or to the scrubland, somewhere far off. And he got there by car. If it was not his rental car than it was a borrowed car. Maybe from one of the Tapas 7.

Yeah, they had two days, three tops. Although they could have used a cooler and ice and bought some time, she was a little girl still (not even 4 yet), it wouldn't be real hard to hide her. Robert Murat wasn't suspected the first night, and they had hours both while everyone else thought Maddie was in bed and for two hours before the police search began.

I have been thinking about this for a while. I was wondering if anyone knows exactly how large the luggage was that dear old dad, who can't spell his own child's name, used when he returned home for a very short visit after Maddie went missing. It seems to me he left within a few days of her disappearance if I remember correctly. I have heard about DNA being found on Kate's luggage and thereby her clothing. Is it possible that Maddie is in England? Could she have been transported by Gary in Kate's bag when went back for that visit? Let me know what you think.

Police sources said, at the end of the afternoon, that Gerry McCann would be questioned immediately after Kate, but there is no indication that it may happen this night. On Monday two couples, from the eight McCann friends that were dinning altogether at Tapas Bar will come to Portimão, to be also questioned, again..

Eight friends?? Eight? Is this a mistake, or was there really another person there? There have been rumors that another friend/relative left late that night or next morning.

Wonder which two couples are to be questioned? Probably Oldfields, and likely Tanner/O'Brien. The new timeline is very interesting...

I don't know about Portugual, but ice and ice chests are not as readily available by a long shot in the parts of Europe I have been in as compared to the US.
