It's so depressing to see such evil persons trying to profit from a tragic event -- in one account it said they were arrested at their "luxury" home...I am sure the money to afford any "luxuries" was ill-gotten...:razz:

An Italian man and a Portuguese woman have been arrested in connection with the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, according to the Spanish equivalent of CID.

The man, named by Italian police as Danilo Chemello, 61, was arrested in a town near the southern Spanish port of Algeciras at 5am this morning.

Chemello had been sentenced to three years incarceration in France but had gone on the run. Today he was arrested in connection to that outstanding warrant.

It was when police searched his home at his arrest that they found material that warranted him being investigated in connection with the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, police said.

Chemello is being held over conspiracy to commit a crime. Police from a special unit targeting violent crime reportedly spent several hours at a property in the area he was arrested.

And I'm way behind - but reading the article in part five about how the McCanns were in a cafe the day after Madeleine disappeared and never mentioned her disappearance - WTF were they doing in a cafe in the first place?

I had some more thoughts in my absence: if the McCann's want to create a cause in Madeleines name it should be with the mission of never letting this happen to another child - they should be speaking out about their mistakes in leaving this child and her siblings alone in a hotel room.

Sorry guys looks like this news has already been posted, as soon as I saw it I just posted without reading previous posts.
But it looks like it has nothing to do with Madelaine, my little heart was pumping so fast, but now in despair as Madelaine is still out there.

You are exactly right. That is what they need to do.

Also, if Madeleine is still alive, they haven't even garnered any sympathy from the abductors, whom are probably watching. Not that they are capeable of feeling sympathy, but the parents are making them puke too. That's bad.

It sure was a rollercoaster, I was up when I first saw there was some news on Madelaine then went down when I read it and found that it really had nothing to do with Madelaine, Im on bloody meds for anxiety, will take them shortly.
The parents definitely need meds, it called a lethal injection.

It was also shocking to hear that they said that "at worst" as parents, they were "naive." :banghead:
