MoonGoddess brought to my attention today a real "twilight zone" moment. This was posted on the Mirror forums also but I wanted to make sure that you all saw it too....

Scroll down to page 10 (see the picture of the Sydney Harbor bridge? Look familiar? From Mike's blog?) Now, read the poem underneath.....

Now scroll to page 26 and read the poem there (No Going Back).....

Also, scroll all the way down to the picture of the author and read the "connection"...Glasgow University?!?! The posters on the Mirror forum have also found a connection to the football team. Read the "Endgame" thread...here...page 4

And finally (as if that were not enough) click on the "copyright" link (on the right, under Contents)...note the date of publication....

Ok....go crazy...tell me what your gut is communicating to you....

I am with you on this Shazza. I can't understand at all what this is suppose to mean. maybe Colomom can translate into simply direct meaning for those of us like you and I who seem to have our brains on a different frequency.

I PM'd everyone above in case you weren't able to find the poem and the mods delete the poem thread. Very, very spooky. It almost looks like Madeleine's disappearance was preplanned- right down to the location. It makes me wonder if GM is some kind of sociopath.

I thought that meant so that they could respond to some of the criticism, but moderation makes it sound like they may use it for future litigation.

Remember when we were talking about sedating the McCann children? Well I found something on another board. Check out the comments- go down almost to the bottom to a post by Kat on 7/20 at 12:27 am and look at #8 in her list. She talks about two relatives of the parents who claim that they have sedated their children in the past. It opens up a lot of possibilities.

It doesn't surprise me. I think our board keeps to an even keel, but some of them get really ugly.

Sorry you feel that way Calikid - I always read your posts. My time is limited and I have to be careful because I can spend hours here and then I don't get my stuff done. Often, I come and read but I don't sign in so that I will not be tempted to stay to long.

But I always find your posts worthwhile and I am happy that you are are talking to yourself because it lets me keep up with what is going on.

You know, I have to say, I don't find anything unsettling about the poem at all. What am I missing here?

I think the guy went to PDL, had a great time, and maybe came back and recommended it to others. Maybe GM knows him, heard what a great time he had and when the opportunity arose, GM and KM decided to take the family there.

I wasn't complaining, Salem, and I certainly didn't mean to imply that I feel ignored. It's just that some days I'll post something, and I'll come back a few hours later and it doesn't look as if anyone's been here. I guess it's because we really don't have a lot of new news, everything is speculation with a sense of waiting. I know you all are busy. I pop in and out several times during the day because Madeleine's disappearance is driving me nuts. It's like I should probably take a break but I can't.

I like what you have to say too. You are very well-informed and bring a lot to the discussion.
