But now we know that they have a bit more background proof of where he was at various times. It's been 5 years now. My guess is this is a bust.

I have not seen the doku, but it seems to be “evidence” which the Germans already have, but will not be enough to convict him. This happens more often in crime cases. but is it possible that the case will go to the European court or to England?
