Madeleine McCann: German Prisoner Identified as Suspect, #41

IMO he has been behind a lot of the issues regarding Julia W. He has aired things that he blatantly knows are not true. He has had a pod cast this week with Jon Clarke that has raised other allegations in connection to the Pj.

I have not seen the doku, but it seems to be “evidence” which the Germans already have, but will not be enough to convict him. This happens more often in crime cases. but is it possible that the case will go to the European court or to England?
Would the case go to England or Portugal? I have to do a deep dive into this new evidence. At first, I thought it was not real. What is everyone's thought process? Where can I read more about this?

Let me start off by saying that I am not really a follower of this case. I remember when it happened and just bits and pieces after.

When I came across an article about the suspect the other day I decided to watch the Netflix documentary. Mostly just to see if any of it matched what I was reading. The doc dropped in 2019 and the article said he came onto the radar in 2020. The doc throws a lot of people and theories at you, probably they all do, but out of all 8 episodes only one thing stuck. They mentioned two people, I believe one was a 12 year old girl, who saw a skinny blonde man with a severely pockmarked face. That was the very first thing I noticed about him in the article picture. If that's accurate then it puts him not just in the country but at the very resort.

Like I said, I don't follow the case, but I am a frequent flyer to this site and decided to check out what people were saying. I just want that little girl and every other missing/murdered child to have the justice that they deserve.

It was before 2020 he came on the scene. Around a couple of years beforehand.

New search.

Searches are expected to start this Tuesday and will take place between Praia da Luz and a house where Christian Brueckner, the main suspect in the case, lived
New searches are being prepared in the context of the Madeleine McCann case, 18 years after the disappearance of the British child in Praia da Luz, in the Algarve. The operation is expected to start this Tuesday and has been requested by the German authorities, who continue to point to Christian Brueckner as the main and only suspect in the crime.
The Portuguese Judiciary Police will collaborate with the investigations, which will focus on an area between Praia da Luz and one of the houses where Brueckner lived during the period in which Madeleine disappeared, on May 3, 2007.

According to CNN Portugal, the objective of this new phase of the investigation is to look for possible traces of the child's body and, consequently, evidence that Brueckner killed Maddie.
One of the theories is that the German traveled one of the paths between the house where he lived and the cliffs of Praia da Luz to dispose of the girl's body.
It is a fight against time for the German police to present evidence against Christian Brueckner.

Fresh police searches are due to start tomorrow near the spot where Madeleine McCann was last seen.

German police are said to have requested the searches, expected to take place between Praia da Luz where the three-year-old vanished on May 3 2007 and a house near the holiday resort where principal suspect Christian Brueckner used to live.

A well-placed Portuguese source confirmed this week’s operation was scheduled get underway tomorrow but said some preparation work may take place beforehand. He said: “They will be land searches only. The main objective is to look for any signs of Madeleine’s body.”

Searches will be first since police probe of Brueckner 'little paradise'

The searches will be the first in Portugal for more than two years following a near-week-long operation involving Portuguese, German and police officers at a remote dam. The May 2023 probe at Arade Dam, described at the time as Christian Brueckner’s ‘little paradise', came to nothing.

They were the first major searches in Portugal for Madeleine McCann in nine years following an earlier June 2014 operation when British police were given permission to do digs in Praia da Luz that involved sniffer dogs trained in detecting bodies and ground-penetrating radar.

The mail updated to this.

A well-placed Portuguese source confirmed this week's operation was scheduled get underway tomorrow but said some preparation work may take place beforehand.

He said: 'They will be land searches only. The main objective is to look for any signs of Madeleine's body.'

Sources said the searches would take place on more than 20 privately-owned pieces of land near to a ramshackle rented cottage on the outskirts of Praia da Luz where Brueckner spent several years living before 2007.

One said: 'The search will take place on 21 privately-owned pieces of land which in some cases are open and not fenced off. Wells, ruins and water storage tanks will be searched.'

Good luck to them, hope it's a productive search. Finding remains would be huge.

It said in the Mirror link a BKA team (of 30 or so) and a PJ team would be conducting the search. No reason for the Met to be there since this is not their case.

They were reported to be at the dam search, OG are part of the support for the Germans and Portuguese according to their web.

The Met continues to work with and support colleagues from law enforcement in Portugal and Germany.

A spokesperson for the force said: "We are aware of the searches being carried out by the BKA (German federal police) in Portugal as part of their investigation into the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.

"The Metropolitan Police Service is not present at the search, we will support our international colleagues where necessary."

I hope it's a solid tip.

So many places to conceal a little, with little -- with little hope of recovery.

Binned.
Buried beneath a deceased animal, easy way to throw of scent dogs.
Burial at sea. Any body of water.

I pray she's found. So the conspiracies can be laid to rest, once and for all.
