Reasonable assessment. IMO Janosch on point & likely barn closer to coast. General consensus is it may have been first location before moving to crime location, switching car & travelling to frp. Possibility body left whilst he drove off to switch.

Good idea. Persistently requesting links for things that have been linked time & again peaked when he was arrested for the 5 crimes but slowed after not guilty verdicts. And now it’s gone back up again.
Perhaps it’s more common when the heat is on CB, so having this resource will help for times like these.

I was going through old reports to understand when the investigation turned to MURDER/MORD. this appears to have been already in 2018. A timeline of events (Please correct me if wrong)

2017 HB calls SY At the 10th anniversary of MM's disappearance to state that CB told him in 2008 that "she did not scream". To show CB's criminality, he also described the videos he saw on CB's camera of CB raping an elderly woman and a teenager. (This second statement led the BKA to investigate any rapes of elderly women in Portugal, which eventually led to CB's conviction of DM's rape).

2017 BKA request access to CB's Hotmail accounts from Microsoft Ireland.

2018 BKA get access to CB's email accounts, largely data deleted from January 2007, per BKA detective Titus Stampa’s court testimony. One of the accounts was described in court as "related to the killing".

July 2018 German investigators searched the attic room in Augsburg where CB had stayed at landlord AB’s home, in 2007, after returning from Portugal. AB told RTL that police said it concerned a “Kapitalverbrechen” (a major/“capital” crime) and they mentioned “Maddie". they confiscated hard drives and were very interested in the Jaguar that CB had transferred on May 4, 2007.

At age 17 he followed a 6 year old girl into a bush and sexually assaulted her!!

Age 17 & he’s already being caught for serious child sexual assault. This man has no impulse control.

IMO his first crime on the outside will either be exposing himself to minors, having cp images on his phone or a physical assault with another man.

If he’s found guilty in the trial in a month’s time, he could face 6 weeks in prison if he can’t pay the fine. If he isn’t donated the cheeky funding I think his lawyers will pay (if they’re allowed to?) I think the lawyers are running this at a loss anyways. A 6 week sentence benefits the prosecution so I expect they’ll make sure he isn’t caged again for this unrelated offence.

There is an official timeline on this forum, that was created by a member called SleuthD, it could be tweaked to add those bits.
In hindsight, a separate media thread, starting in 2020 would have been useful for this case.

I agree that sources are important. German reporting is straightforward and without embellishment. It would be good the use it (not including Bild) to pin down an accurate timeline of his known crimes.
