I am not satisfied with that guy's answer on CNN about how the plane could have ended up there?

He said auto-pilot b/c of mechanical failure/fire.

But why was auto-pilot turned west, and then apparently south??

Woudl the currents have taken the debris all the way down there, or was the plane itself there?

The aircraft will be down there - there are currents that will move stuff round down there obviously - its almost in Antarctic territory... but what prompted me to call this last night and say they'd found it was that the Jindalee and Pine Gap systems we have monitoring our airspace and approaches here are far far far more capable than they will admit to.

They did the whole "this might take a few weeks" and that is to buffer it... "Oh look we found it in the first day what a surprise how lucky!"

Doing the conference in Canberra time, that's like 1993 so they'll be a bit behind.

Satellite imagery, POSSIBLY relating, excellent assesment of satellite, they may NOT be related, assessment by AGO, debris south of the search area, image in vicinity of search area, further images expected after commercial satellites redirected to take high res images, ships sent to recover, Irion Aircraft arrived in area, 3 more tasked to head, including NZ Orion, and USS ? heading and should be there now.
