UPDATE [3.42pm]: From the press conference by Malaysian Inspector General of Police Khalid Abu Bakar:

The identity of the passenger traveling with a stolen Austrian passport: He is Eouria Nour Mohammad Mehrdead, 19 from Iran. He was traveling to Germany, where his mother had been waiting for him, with plans to migrate.

His mother got in touch with Malaysian police when he failed to arrive and confirmed that she had known that he was traveling with a stolen passport. Check on him found that he was 'not likely to be a member of any terrorist group'. He entered Malaysia on Feb 20.

Well I stepped away to watch the disappointing finale of The Bachelor just when all the excitement happens! Is there a way to watch a replay of the press conference? And how do I watch the Current Affair link. I tried to log in as "guest" and where it says postal code which I thought was zip code I can only put in 4 numbers. I am so confused.

OMG! The pilots asked those 2 teenage girls to join them for the whole flight?! The captain was not the captain of #370 but the co-pilot was. And they (the pilots) smoked in the cockpit while flying? I can't believe they did that! What in the world? I am starting to question the co-pilot now.

MISSING Malaysian airlines Flight MH370 most likely stalled and lost altitude dramatically before plummeting into the sea, a top aviation lawyer has said.

and now they are saying that there wasn't anyone checked in that didn't board!!!

Now that is a complete turn around...........how the hell did they not get that right days ago???????

That is not just bad reporting, the officials at the airport actually said that days ago as well, and just about every news report I have read has that as a fact...

I am really wondering about just how onto things at that airport the Malaysians are....

Knew they'd both be Iranians, and Mr Ali is a people smuggler for Iranians I bet....

DOes not look like terrorism anymore..........

Just want to add after the reading the above post: where were the reports of it dropping suddenly before going off the radar?????? I know of only one report of it going towards the sea and that is the businessman that saw the white light that went towards the sea.

He said Malaysia Airlines had removed those passengers’ baggage once it learned they did not board the plane, in accordance with standard procedure. “But we have to remove the baggage that they checked in… we have done so on this aircraft,” he said.

Azid Ibrahim, who was in his boat at sea, told Malaysia's The Star newspaper the plane was flying so low that the lights were “as big as coconuts”.

Another man also reported being at home when he saw saw "bright white lights" from what he thought was a "fast-descending" aircraft around 15 minutes later.
