I'm still on the theory that this plane was hijacked and crash landed somewhere. As much as I hate to say it, I don't believe there are any survivors at this point. :(

However, my goofy DH still says it flew into a time warp. When I questioned him further as to whether it went back in time or into the future. He says back in time. I told him that wasn't possible, because if say it went back 10 years in time, then 10 years ago we would have heard about a plane landing from the future. He got my point and told me to shut up! :giggle: He watches too many movies. :)

Afraid I agree on your thoughts. :(

For hubby:

Time travel doesn't work that way. It couldn't have happened 10 years ago already because it just went back in time this week. Unless you believe time is circular and repeats it's self rather than being linear.

I am interested that the U.S... Among other countries... Has a fleet of submarines stationed in the Indian Ocean... (See link below)

therefore... It seems we have had hi tech surveillance craft in the Indian Ocean from the very beginning of this Malaysian Plane Mystery...

Wouldn't the fleets of submarines, of various countries, be the best craft for underwater "searching"?...

According to the movie "Groundhog Day" time travel must be circular.

That what I am thinking. Some hijackings have happened like that in the past if I recall. Or this one that LadyL suggests.

I am worried about the reports of female in the cabin, and young man not knowing enough of history too.

(And am a stickler. It is not new, women have been doing these things since humans began, just like men. History is replete with women committing equally as devious and heinous acts as men for their country or for themselves.)

Sure makes sense to me. :dunno:

I still tend to believe what the US says, over these other countries, who seem to be playing stupid games with the public.

But many planes do not have WiFi. I believe it is relatively new. Millions of people fly every year on planes without WiFi even though they would want to use it.

This is about the 777's used by Malaysia Air...Nothing about WiFi.

http://www.seatguru.com/airlines/Malaysia_Airlines/Malaysia_Airlines_Boeing_777-200.php

Exactly. I have flown from Canada to the States numerous times and none of the planes I have been on have WiFi. In fact, Air Canada is the only Canadian airline (that I know of) that has WiFi capabilities. It's pretty recent too. And I think it's only available in Business class right now.

I don't have a link handy, but I did recall hearing about it on the radio a while ago.

I thought that too, and am sure some are, but I think politics is the barrier here. Who controls the water, who allows whom where, why, and when. (And the areas asked to be searched and ability to get what size where.)

DH just called to ask if I'd gotten his email about our weekend agenda. "Yes." He asked if the plane had been found yet. "No. Now reports are suggesting that the plane might have been targeted by pirates." DH, "What's next? Aliens?" :giggle:

Submarines operate in secrecy and could very well be doing this already.

I was chatting with a submarine guy and they have amazing listening abilities. Can tell what type of engine and how many blades on props of boats from many miles away.

US isn't the only country with subs in the Indian Ocean. Google turns up interesting details on this.

If lithium batteries exploded and caught fire, would this cause an intentional turning off of the transponder an other air to ground communication systems and change it's course?. I would think if this plane caught fire and crashed in water, eventually something will float. I am strongly leaning to hijacked and hidden in another country.
