I would think that hijacking would be hopeful news compared to the alternative. No demands for ransom.....no communications whatsoever.

Actually it is her dad who served as the Chief Steward on MH370, Andrew Nari. Her reference to him serving everyone I think is her hanging on to the hope he is still alive.
I believe her Twitter account was linked in MSM. You can Twitter search and find it as well as pictures with her dad. So sad!
